This is a universal remote u bought wright?Check ur tv remote owner manual follow the instructions and program in ur tv universal remote codes for ur tv universal codes. If none of the tv universal codes of ur tv model will work, return it.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote or very close compatible to the original one.
Not sure if you've decided to throw your remote control away already or not. But try using the manual search code. Basically press "TV" (light blinks once), then press the "Up" channel button and the "up" volume button at the same time (light comes on permanently), then hold down "Power" whilst putting the remote RIGHT IN FRONT of the place where your tv receives signal (usually where you can see a light), and I mean right in front! Hold it down until your tv powers off. Then it should be configured and working. It took me about 1 minute or more for the TV to react and turn off. Then you can check if it turns on again and if the channels are working.
On most universal remote control, you will find the procedure to enter
the builder code OR a procedure to pass through all the code of the
remote, one by one and pass to the other TILL you find the right one.
