I just got my new heating pad. All it does is flash F2. Last night was the first time to use. Why is it doing this? I do not have a manual for the pad "misplaced". Tried to download and it will not. Please help.

Hi

As its new I would recommend you to get use warranty and get it repaired/replaced. However, if you still want to do this yourself then pull out the main wire box located inside the pad and then take it apart and use hair dryer to dry the electronic control board, this should work, however remember that opening it will void the warranty. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

I bought a Sunbeam Heating Pad (Ultraheat) last year which I just took it out of the box last night. It is brand new, not used until last night and it smell like it was burning. I instantly unplugged it....

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

i think from sitting in the box for a year, the material can smell, form its first time usage.
I suggest you put the pad on or in a baking dish on the stove..plug in and see if the smell burns off. I think it will.

if not return to Sunbeam (800) 435-1250

Dream Maker Hot tub - Display is blank - no #'s - flashes 4 times

Hard to say without being there. Two things to check though. First be sure the new board is the correct one. Many times parts will change and replacements will have special instructions for retrofitting.
The other thing to check is be very sure the plug on the new board lines up with the receptor. On a multi pin plug if the pins don't line up you can get just the problem you describe. I hope this helps, sorry it can't be more.

Malfunction heating pad

Same F2, quick off problem here. Then I noticed that the gray plug on the power cord was not completely flush with the connector on the pad. I shoved them together until there is no gap. The unit's worked perfectly since then.
