Cigarette lighter port does not work. fuse is good and interior lights are on and working normaly....it does not heat up the lighter and when you plug in a charger it does not light up the charger..its basicly dead how do i fix it

All of those are controlled by or influenced the BCM. You need a good auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool to check the BCM and communication to and from it.

Fuse 4 does the cigarette light and the side mirrors. Do the mirrors work?

If all those fuses are okay, you need a good auto-electrician.

Click on the link. Interior fuse box, fuse 12 in the picture. Voltage for front cigar lighter and obd2 pin 16.

use a test light on cigar lighter, put probe in center of socket and the ground on outside of cigar socket or any other good ground. if power to socket, this will tell you if the cigar socket is bad and needs replaced. if it has power and lighter does not work, then its the heating element itself thats bad, the part that heats up! good-day !

First thing to check: fuse(s) for the cigarette lighter/power port, which may also be the same fuse for the interior lighting that went out. Could post the location of your fuse box (most Hyundai cars have 2 - one under hood, and a second under the dash (where your power port/interior lighting fuses are most likely located)), if you could clarify which model/year/engine size Hyundai car/truck is giving you problems.

Fuse #21 is a 15A that covers the interior lights, cigarette lighter, and clock. Are those other items also not working? If so, it is very likely the fuse. If you're connecting something like a cell-phone charger to the cig lighter port, that might be causing a short to blow the fuse...

is the only thing not working the cigarette lighter? the fuse that operates it is usually the accessories fuse, it normally operates the interior light as well, which fuse box have you checked,there is most likely one under the bonnet & there also may be one under the dash as well, it might well be that the cigarette lighter element is the problem,try another lighter....hope this helps....cheers

check your manual it shows where the fuse boxes are normaly one under the bonnet and right or left kick trim

That's where a $5.00, 12 volt test light comes in handy. All you have to do then is touch tip on ends of fuses to see if they are good or not. No pulling fuses and no head scratching wondering which one it might be. If you have power on one side, but not the other, you found the blown fuse. It certainly is not uncommon to find the bad fuse, labeled wrong, or added in with something else that makes no sense at all.
