You should be able to remove the card and plug it into your computer... you might need an adapter.
Other than deleting to get space on the card there is not much else you can do. Replace card with larger... it can go to 32Gb. Remember to format a new card beforoe use.

Bounced trks 3&4 to 7&8 clicked on wav file button canceled says out of capacity

You have a memory problem. If you are using a flash card for memory or a CD drive or perhaps you have configured an external drive, you need to free up some space. Try deleting tracks or songs you don't need anymore.

Each song is independent on a CompactFlash
without affecting other songs. You can give a desired song name for managing recorded songs
(see pages 23 and 91).
Recorded track data is stored in a song as mono WAV files.
The MR-8mkII can convert the two WAV files recorded on tracks 7 and 8 (L and R) to a stereo
WAV file (see page 115).
You can export the converted stereo WAV file to your USB-connected personal computer, and
use the file by a music software application or make an original audio CD on the computer using
a CD burn software application. You can also burn an audio CD by using an external CD-R/RW
drive connected via the [USB HOST] port of the MR-8mkII (see page 115 and 123)

My roland br 1600 cd rec.studio is just over a year old.I have 4 songs currently on it (80 gb) and it says HD full.It cant be full ....I cant work because of this error...

Yep... the hard drive is 80GB... so if you have 80GB of songs (not hard to do) it is full. Purge some off to make space. Those must be either long songs or have a lot of high frequency stuff using a lot of data to store them or a lot of tracks per song. For stereo recording two tracks using computer I chew up about 1 GB per hour. If you have armed more tracks this could really jump up... and these units may not be as efficient as the new software PC DAW's. I would recommend purging existing songs to a safe media and then reformatting/initializing the drive in the unit.

I had recorded 16 complete songs of my own on a 512 mb sandisk sd card. When the card was almost full i removed it and recorded other new songs on another card. when i re-introduced the first card it had...

A very important thing when using these recording devices is to PROPERLY close the media. I would not panic at this point. Search for a forum regarding the Boss Micro BR and ask there as somebody may be able to help you recover the data. Read up on your manual about shutdown. I have Tascam recorders and I prefer to stop the recording and then when it is done I turn power off before removing the media. You may have to use a special procedure when introducing the nearly full card... even forcing it to load.

I have the a Casio Keyboard that has an SD slot, but whenever i put songs on my SD card & then plug it into the keyboard, it says that there is an ERROR . What am i supposed to do . Step by Step . to...

Does it say ERR NO FILE? If so, then read on. The reason you have this error is because you don't have a folder on your sd card named MUSICDAT. Solution:
  1. Insert your sd card into computer
  2. Make folder called MUSICDAT.
  3. Then, transfer all files inside the folder (make sure your songs are in MIDI format).
  4. Safely remove your sd card.
  5. You're ready to put it in you Casio Keyboard!
If you still get the error, take time to read you manual. Read the "using the sd card" part. The folder name might be different for your Casio Keyboard (because mine's a CTK-5000).
...and IF you still get the error, perhaps the songs you meant in your question are MP3 songs (like the ones you play on the iPod)? Then, that's a different topic... :)
Well then, good luck!

Message says "Card Full"

The sound file has used all available space on the memory card. Either put in a different card or purge the sound file(s) on the card so you can record new files.

Just bought Kingston 2GB SD Card for Boss Micro BR but when maching turned on,its frozen on KEEP POWER ON! SONG LOADING!

This is likely a compatibility issue. Turn power off and remove the card and make sure the unit comes back to life.

SD card compatibility can be a problem.

You might want to go to VSPLANET.com as there is a lot of info on forums about recorders.

My Fostex mr8 hdd "full"

If you can reformat the drive after dumping out anything you want saved MIGHT fix the problem...

The unit MAY not be able to tolerate fragmenting when you delete a snippet here and there... It may require large blocks of contiguous space.

"Card Full" error when the card is in fact empty...

I had the same issue, and ended up solving it after trying many different things. So first you put the card in your reader, right click, and hit "format...". It should ask you if it's ok to erase everything. Say yes.

Then put the card in the recorder, and it should say "Unformatted". Hit Utility and TR4 to Initialize. That should do the trick. Hope that helps!

I think my Micro BR is broken

It is either that you put an incompatible SD card in it. (Believe it or not, many devices will not work with certain SD cards), or the card reader has failed. Try a Scandisk SD card or other popular brand and see if there is any difference in the messages. Otherwise I would say the card reader is faulty.
