SOURCE: Frigidaire Front Load Door Lock Broken and Noisy FWT449GF

Its looks like a lid switch issue. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it. Good luck!

SOURCE: load noise in final spin cycle

turn the tub on the inside if it feels ruff as it turns and makes a noise then most likely you have a bad rear bearing, if it is smooth in turning and no noise then turn to drain or spin possibly something stuck in drain pump. the drain pump will start up first if you hear the noise then the drain pump is accessed from the front lower cover, if its the rear bearing probably not worth fixing about 400.00 in parts and alot of work.

SOURCE: My FWT645RHSO front load washer

Hello Twisted1,
If you have adjusted the level to reset and then to where you want it and it still won't fill to the level you want, I would suspect the level sensor in the washer itself. Most washers have to be switched to reset before setting a lower or higher water level. I hope it's as simple as the reset level switch for you.
Good Luck.

check out the drain pump if drain pump is blocked up water will not get away quick enough and stop machine from spinning
if that is clear
turn bowl by hand and if you get a runble noise then the main bearings are gone
that will need dismantle and replacement or new machine

What is the drum size of the washer?

Hello Friend, that's a great question!

In order to provide you the correct drum size of your Frigidaire washer, I would need your model number please. You can normally locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the upper front as you open the door if you have a front load washer. If you own a top load washer, you may find the serial tag inside the lid, on the right side. Thank you and I look forward to your response.

Where do you find the model # for a frigidaire washer? The tag under the lid has been removed.

Hello saguilar891 - Generally speaking, the model and serial numbers on Frigidaire front load washers are located on the upper front, as you open the door.

Top load washer - won't spin - how so i get the back off to check the belt?

If this is a frigidaire.there are two clips about one inch in from either side of the machine in the front that you need to push in with a flat tip screw driver to loosen the lid.then there are two screws down on the bottom front that need to come off, then the front panel will come off to access the belt

My Frigidaire front loading washer drains completely when the cycle is done, but then fresh water slowly accumulates over time in the bottom of the tumbler (maybe 4 inches). What can I do about this?...

Hi, Your problem lies with the water valve needing to be replaced. It's where the two hoses fasten on in the back. Unplug machine take the top off and you'll be able to get to it. You'll need your full model number to get the part at your local parts house. Hope this helps.

During wash cycle the tub doesn't lock.

Lid lock may be damaged. Unplug, remove the front by the bottom 2 screws. Look at lid lock to see if it has overheated or damaged. Let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze

E90 alarm code keeps coming up on zanussi washer

E90 appears to be caused by faulty connectors to the main circuit board which appears in the bottom right corner, if you're looking at the washer from the front with the lid off (looking down into washer). This is fixed by reseating, cleaning the connectors.

remove 2 screws at the back which secure the top,
push the top backwards,
unplug the connectors to the front panel,
vibrations due to unbalanced load may have loosened them,
push them firmly back in socket,
pushed the top (back to front, make sure a plastic tab seats properly to secure front part of top panel) in place and fastened the screws,
power on,
run the machine empty for minimum cycle - rinse only.

Good luck!!!!
