Jura X7. The plastic circuit board housing behind the touch screen has broken after too many presses of a button. The little round buttons behind the touch screen have broken off. Is there a "repair" avail or does the circuit board housing need to be replaced. The housing seems to be only available with boards at about a $1000. Is the housing front avail separately?

Start button has broken, literally

Possibly. Most control boards (PCB,s) have touch switches on them and are operated by a plastic button which acts directly on the switch. If the button breaks, it cannot push onto the switch. I would say to have a close look at the PCB to see if there are any screws or clips which hold it in place to the front fascia. The PCB normally holds the button in its position. Make sure the machine is UNPLUGGED before you play with it and DO NOT try to operate it with the power on and by pressing the switches on the PCB. Some parts of the board will be low voltage but other areas of it will be full mains voltage.

My jura X7 system is rinsing with milk. When pressing the rinse button, the machine is drawing milk to rinse instead of water??

The milk tubes should be submersed into water with a milk cleaning agent. sounds like you've left the milk tubes drawing from the fridge with milk in it.

Jura impressa x7 does not rinse and coffee does not come out. I do get steam for froth etc

Jura x7 coffee machines are older models in the coffee machine range. It may simply require a full system clean, using jura cleaning tablets, or more likely a service. Bean to cup machines should really be serviced every year to 18 months depending on usage.

My phone screen not working, key pad working but my phone was keypad locked. to unlock i need to press unlock button on screen but screen is not working .. i have restarted and remove memory, sim card also...

Hello,

The reason your screens touch pad is not working is because the sensor board is no longer connected to the main panel of the phone, or the ribbon that connects the screen to the main board is faulty.

Try to open up the phone, by unscrewing it open from the back, then locating the ribbon and either try to reconnect it or replace the ribbon with a new one.

Remove your back cover, battery, sim, stylus and memory card. Now remove the cross head screw,
Lever the antenna cover off using a mobile phone opening tool.
Now remove the six screws you have access to.
Next you need to separate the battery compartment from the rest of the phone. To do so lever it away using your opening tool. There are various recesses in the back of the phone do allow you to do this.
The volume buttons are stuck to the side of the housing and need to be carefully peeled away. you can see the volume buttons after they have been unstuck from the side of the phone. You can now peel the large brown/orange ribbon away from the phone. It's held in place with double sided tape. The circuit board which the ribbon is connected to will come away with it. The on/off switch will be stuck down in the same way the volume button was and also needs to be peeled away when you remove the circuit board.
The on/off button will also come loose. Remove the screw, circled bottom left. The vibrating motor, bottom right, should be levered up so it is loose.
Lift the lower circuit board up and you'll be able to see another ribbon connector which needs to be disconnected. Again, it attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever this away from the circuit board to unplug.
To screen is held firmly in place with double sided tape and to remove it you first need to heat the screen (using a hot air gun or a hair dryer), then push your opening tool very firmly. You'll then see the screen raise slightly allowing you to slide something like a guitar plectrum or credit card behind it. Move your plastic tool all the way around the edge of the screen to release it.
You can now simply lift the screen away from the housing.
You should now have the screen removed. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.

Take care and good luck

Jura Impressa J, where do you insert cleaning tablets. Round tab to the left of bean hopper is too small for tablet

There is a little shoot that you pull up between the grinders, the pills fit there, if they do not they are the wrong pills. they should be semi circle pills

Where do you put the cleaning tablets in a jura impressa x7-s?

add a capfull of the cleaning fluid to a litre of water, insert milk tube and request cappuccino clean from the cleaning button...icon of cleaning tablet surrounded by water droplets, second row second button from lefthand side...then follow screen instructions to step your way through the cleaning selections with +and - buttons.
I keep the cleaning fluid held high to allow it to continue running after the cleaning action.
Remember to run clean water through the pipes using the same method above.

Google x7 manual and you can download one of many copies online.

How to fix a dell monitor dimension 2400 power button broken

The last guest left us hanging with, "easy fix" so, I ventured ahead to see what I could see by opening up my lcd, which was a puzzle in itself. After UNPLUGGING the monitor and removing the stand and the 4 obvious screws in the back, turn the monitor onto its back and placing your palms against one side of the monitor, and using your FINGER TIPS, gently pull back the plastic lip away from the LCD screen. Move along the lip, doing this a little bit at a time. You'll hear and feel it snap loose. Repeat on the remaining three sides. It may take a few rotations to free all the sides, doing a little at a time, so as not to put undo stress on the plastic that is not yet loose. The bottom lip from behind which lies the offending "on/off" button will not move as freely as the other sides because of the ribbon cord that attaches the circuit panel to the main body. So STOP pulling when you feel it become taught and carefully turn the monitor onto its face to complete the face's removal. Undo the cloth tape that secures the ribbon cable to the monitor. This will give you the necessary slack you need to do your dirty work. BTW, we're not disconnecting the ribbon cable from its connections- that would be bad - just remove that haphazardly placed piece of tape used to keep the thing snug and save it for when you're ready to close it back up. OKAY! There a four tiny screws that affix the green circuit board. You'll need a thin, jewelers type phillips head or a one from a synthe-sized tool set to remove these. Now, if your issue is like mine, you'll see when you again carefully remove the circuit board, that the on/off button has cracked off of the piece that holds it. This is why the button remained stuck in one positon when it was depressed. Re-align it so that it is uniform to the other buttons and place a few small strips of cut electrical tape to hold it in place to the end where it broke off. Crazy glue or the like won't give the button the flexability it needs and will probably just crack again. What the tape (I layered 3 strips) will do, once the circuit board is scewed back, is allow the button to return to position after it's pushed. I just did this and so far, after a dozen on/offs it's still working. Good luck. Go have a beer.
