If I download drivers for my Macbook for Konica Minolta 290MF will I be able to print from my macbook pro?

do any other document word, etc. print? Try this site for most up to date drivers

There are no Mac drivers for this printer. It will work with Windows 98SE through Vista, with the drivers from http://onyxftp.mykonicaminolta.com/download/SearchResults.aspx?productid=984 . A workaround would be to run a program like Parallels and run a Windows install in that package. You would need a licensed version of Windows to load into Parallels.

(Alternatively, find someone to write a Mac driver for the printer. Kodak Minolta has no plans to write Mac drivers.)

You should be able to click on the printer/file and see why it has stopped. It may just be a setting.
