I have bought a mororla razr from america i cannot find where to put the sim card , i have looked under the battery compartment

Hi,

it is very easy to remove.just use your finger to open the back cover of the phone, remove the battery close to where the battery terminal is, and slide out the Sim card out.

But if you can not remove the Sim card with you finger, just get s screw on something you can use to pull the back cover and the battery out, then you can get access to your Sim card.

When you remove the battery cover, the SIM card is in the middle of the phone, sticking out just in front of the battery. You just slide the SIM card out. If you don't see it when you remove the battery cover, you are missing it because the phone definitely uses one.

the sim card is not under the battery, as in you take it out and see it, the sim is downwards from the battery.

I think its near to where the sim card is located under the battery

It depends on your carrier or phone model.

Verizon Wireless still uses the CDMA network. CDMA gets the phone user ID from a programmed chip hardwired to the phone instead of a SIM card.

Because of this, there is room underneath the battery cover, south of the battery on the right side of the compartment for a mini-SD card.

Other carriers such as T-Mobile, Cingular/AT&T DO use SIM cards to store user ID, so there is not room for a memory card.

I do know that the MotoRazr2 V9 from AT&T DOES accept Micro-SD cards.

But if you have a GSM carrier such as T-Mobile or AT&T, the Razr V3 does not have a card slot.

Verizon & Alltel (which happened to recently finalize the merge) use CDMA. CDMA does not use SIM cards.

AT&T, T-Mobile, etc. use SIM cards - wheter they are 3G networks, TDMA, etc.

with your battery out look to your lower right, there should be a picture on the white sticker indicating the location and placement of the sim. if not the it faces down and slides down under the silver bracket with the 4 gold fingers. This would be below the "M" if you were looking at it with the battery in place.
