It is either toast or the music is not compatible with the mp3 player...

make sure your music file isn't broken and it is either a .mp3 or .wma file.

SOURCE: Playing CD-RW audio CDs on Kenwood DP-J2070

try to play a song from original cds.
maybe you brunt it in mp3 file, or its a different format. try to burn your song to cd-r.
if still, try to use nero to burner..
if it wont play your original cds and burnt cds, then the optical lens or the board is broken.
hope I helped you.

The AIWA CX-ZR525 wont play cd's, it will only pick them up and leave them there with no music

Presuming that other sources work okay and the the cables are connected correctly.....Try a CD Lens cleaner.

If that doesn't work then it's time to open up the unit and manually clean the laser lens. If that still doesn't work then the laser might be dead. Replacement parts may be available. Whether or not you can do this as a DIY repair though is questionable. It depends on your skill.

RCA rs2130i won't play MP3 or WMA anymore

first the laser may be dirty. you can find lens cleaning disks at any cd store. But have you recently bought a new pack of cds? Sometimes certain CDs just simply dont work with some players. No reason for it they jsut dont work. You could also be using the wrong type of cd, CD+R vs CD-R

RCA RS2603 digital audio system stopped playing CD's. Double cassette tape deck works as does radio, but cannot play CDs.

chack and see what type of CD you are using. i have been having the same issue. i actually found out that the CD's i use to play songs, and etc are "CD-R". the compatible CD's for my (RCA DIGITAL AUDIO SYSTEM RS2603) sterio are CD-RW's or compact disc that you find on production music like albums, etc. hope this helped !

Aiwa Stereo

Same model, same problem. (CX NA-50) I have one that worked great for two years (at best) and I haven't used it since then. I recently decided to look for a solution via the internet.
I read somewhere else that there was a class action settlement with aiwa (now expired) since many of these units had this problem.
