My Mad Dog MegaVault 3.5, I have had problems getting this to work from the beginning. I continually get a message, "Please insert a disc in drive..." I did get it to work moving the IDE ribbon cable. It worked 3 or 4 times and stopped working again. I thought the problem was with the IDE ribbon cable but I was able to get it going again. I changed out the ribbon cable and I still can't get it to work.
I call for support at 801-607-4304 and a recording refers me to 916-543-7677 and that number doesn't work. Do you have a good number for support?
