My tv turns on an off, and the picture and sound works fine. The problem I am having, is that no matter what button you push on the remote, or the tv itself, it just brings up the input. You could hit volume + and it will bring up the input, any attempt to hit another button while the input menu is up will just cause it to scroll through the inputs (and at a much faster, glichery speed than normal) I dont even know where to start to look for a solution. This tv is not even 2 years old. It was working fun up until just now.

Sounds like picture in picture (pip) which can be turned off with the tv remote.

I had come home about a week ago and pushed the power button from my remote but my tv did not respond. So I just went to the front panel and pushed power but once the tv turned on, the volume was on full blast! I used the front panel volume decrease to get the volume down, but when I stopped pushing the button, the tv increased its volume to full blast again by itself! Naturally I just turned the tv off for a few moments. I tried the remote again, no response again, so I used the panel power button. The tv volume was still full blast when it turned on but after I decreased the volume it stayed this time. The picture is and has been perfectly fine and the tv was working fine. The next day the problem started all over and now once we turned it off from frustration of having to manually use the panel to change channels, it now will not turn on at all. I have changed batteries from my remote, reprogrammed my remote, pushed system reset several times, unplugged it for a while, bought a new surge charge, and even held the menu and device panel buttons for 10 sec and tried to turn the t.v. on again! What other options do I have or what may be the issue at hand and possible parts that may need to be replaced?? Thanks!!

It sounds to me like you need a repair person to look at this..

Sounds like the input accidentally got changed. On the remote that came with the TV, push the INPUT button until you get your satellite picture again. If your SAT. remote is programmed to your TV, push the TV button, then the input button until you see your picture. If this doesn't work then the sat. cable is not securely attached or no longer works.

you have to take the remote, find the input button, push the input button untill your picture comes back, you should see the input go from cable/antenna, to vid 1--vid2---vid3---if pushing the button a couple of times dont change it, you will have to hit the input button, then arrow down, and select the nexy one, do that untill you find the picture

I have the sames t.v you have to go in the back flip the power cord switch...then reboot the t.v.

WHEN YOU TURN THE SET OFF,SOUND LEAVES BUT PICTURE STAYS ON--SOUNDS LIKE THE MAIN POWER RELAY IS STUCK-NEEDS TECH TO REPLACE BUT SHOULD BE A CHEAP JOB!!

You have to push and hold down TV and Mute button (for 2 seconds at the same time), then release them at the same time, then push channel up until the TV turns off.  Be patient and continue channel up until the TV turns off.  When it turns off, then push TV again to lock the code.

You were doing fine, but missed to push channel up to fine the code.

the channel down button is stuck on, you need to replace this switch internaly to the set.
