Switch problem? Thanks, Sweet Rascal. The only way to stop the constant clicking noise is to push the light switch and hold it in. This, plus the other symptoms, makes me think that there is a problem with the switch that controls the oven light. Can you tell me whether it is possible to replace the switch without replacing the entire control panel, and if so how I would find the part number? Is it difficult to do? Thanks.

How can I find a schematic for the touchpad of a Dacor MCS-130 wall oven? I will need a schematic in order to replace the switch properly. I also want to confirm that the indicated part is correct, as the Parts place quoted me an entirely different part. Also, I want to see if it is simpler just to replace the entire Touchpad, and what the price differential would be.
    Thanks.

there select range/stove/oven

in that select switch

after doing that see for the 3rd part.

this is the light switch you need.

replacing it is not very tough. but it is not that easy also.

since you are going to work near circuit boards this must be done carefully. if any small mistake will cause more problems.
everything depends upon your expertise sir.

thank you

Door locked wont self clean

Turn off breaker for minute or so if no contact repair man mcro switch bad or out of position. Did he try to pull door right after candle. The motor takes time to clear the hook from the latch. If so he probly bent some thing in the mech that latches the door or on the switch plate that holds the micro switch

I'm getting a constant beeping sound and a F1

The F1 error code means that the computer thinks a button on the touchpad is stuck. Sometimes this can be resolved by making sure the touchpad connector fits tight into the control board. The F1 code can be cleared by pushing CANCEL/OFF. If it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced

We have a Belling oven that we can't turn on. The numbers in the display are flashing and we can't figure out how to reset this or to turn it on. There are six buttons from left to right, one labelled...

We solved this by pushing both the "start cooking" and "stop cooking" buttons at the same time (these are the ones showing a pan with steam coming out of it and a pan that says stop above it). While holding these down we used the plus and minus buttons to set the time. After doing this we were able to turn the oven on.

My DACOR + ECS 130 covection oven light relay keeps clicking.....

I have the same problem and sent an e-mail to DACOR. A James Carlos responded and advised that DACOR could not provide DYI info because of liability problems, pure BS in my opinion. I've had problems with a DACOR microwave (manuf. by Sharp), my DACOR wall oven Model ECS103 and my DACOR Raised Vent system and told Mr. Carlos so. I don't know how to fix the blinking oven light other than cutting power at the circuit breaker panel or removing the two light bulbs which other have advised but suspect a new front control panel is required. If you find a fix, please advise me at [email protected]. I think DACOR products are overpriced and junk.

The bottom oven on my stoves cooker ignites but then constantly clicks and will not stop until the gas dial is switched off. Can any one give me a clue as to why? Thanks

As an ex stoves enginneer, the problem may be one of three faults;
1. cracked electrode, what creats the spark in the oven
2.electrode lead has melted.
3. faulty ignition generator.
Try takin the lead off the electrode and placing it in the oven flame, if this stops the clicking, then replace the electrode.

Hi, I have an oven ''Stove 605 MF'' and we had a power cut but for some reasons when the power came back the oven lights started blinking constantly and we are unable to use the oven since then??? I tried...

Try holding the cancel/off button for 10 seconds.
If that does not correct the problem you probably have a bad clock control from the power surge when power was restored.

Wolf oven - oven clicks continuously

This sounds like you have a flame switch getting ready to go out. The reason you are hearing the ticking noise is that after the ignition is satisfied the flame switch is not detecting and sending a signal to continue to try for ignition.

Dacor oven light

Open the over door. Remove the four screws holding in the digital display. Pull it off (have something to stand it up on). Look for the small ribbon going between the printed circuit board (PCB) and the digital display you just removed. Pull the ribbon out from the connector on the PCB. On my model, ECS127SBK, push the three right pins down, and re-connect with just the two left pins. Other models, may be different, so you may have to test it out. Be sure to turn off the power at your breaker box while working on it. You won't have the use of the lightbulbs anymore, but you won't have the damn ticking either! (And you'll save yourself getting ripped off from a technician.) I'm not very skilled when it comes to this stuff, so if I can do it, you can too!
