Motorola Mobility HT820 Wireless / Cable Headset Logo

I have blackberry 8120 with HT820

I have two headsets... One works great both for headset (phone calls) and HeadPhones (media player) The other one works for HeadPhones but the Headset is having issues... It says its functioning as a head set... I can invoke voice dialing but I cant get any sound and the mic doesn't work. This was working at one point... but now it's not. I have tried my old phone and I have tried re-"pairing" the headset... Nothing works, I think it might be broken. I was looking for a reset button on the headset but I don't see anything like that... can anyone point me in the right direction. Motorola.com is no help...

Cant listen to music on my Blackberry Pearl using HT820

I'm not familiar with Bluetooth and Blackberry's but I think you need a driver or you need to "sync" your media player on your Blackberry with your headphones.

I'll do some research and get back to you.

How do i sync my ht820 to my samsung flip phone, phone says place bluetooth device in discovery mode and I dont know how to do that\

To connect your headset to your phone, press and hold the "M" button on the left side of the headset for 6 seconds until the indicator light turns on and remains steadily lit.
Next, put your phone into pairing mode by going into your Bluetooth settings and searching for a device. Once your phone has found your headset, you can sync them together.

Make sure your headphones are turned off. Hold call button for 6 seconds, until you see the light steadily lit. Now pair with your phone: Motorola HT820, and type passkey: 0000. Done!

Windows 7 can't find driver for my HT820 headset. using a PC850 usb dongle and have installed the windcomm drivers.

Install Service Pack 1. Up until this was released a couple days ago, I was never able to get my HT820 to work with my Dell XPS with internal Bluetooth. After SP1, it worked.

Cant listen to music on my Blackberry Pearl using HT820

RIM has a new OS for the 8100 pearl (OS 4.3). This OS supports A2DP streaming which is necessary for listening to music with bluetooth headphones. The OS is out in beta version now and supposedly available on bit torrent. I hear that AT&T will release the OS for their phones in April or May.

I loose BT connection after one song

Does the motorola headset make decending tones when it disconnects? If it does, you are listening to your music using the Headset bluetooth profile rather than the High quality audio one. You will need to change the way the device is paired to the phone. Try pairing it as bluetooth headphones or bluetooth high quality audio, rather than a bluetooth headset. Once you have done that, you can pair it as a bluetooth headset too, as the motorola headset connects to 2 bluetooth devices, or in this case, one device, with two profiles. To use the headset profile, press the left M symbol once, and the headset will play a sound to indicate connection as a headset. If you press it again, it will revert to High Quality Audio profile, and you can listen to your music, and even skip/pause it!
