The coffee grind could be too fine and or not enough coffee is being added to the brew chamber after the machine grinds it. You can try to adjust the amount of coffee being used for an espresso and or adjust the grind.

Hi there...have the light continually flashing red...have cleaned it all out and everything is puched in etc...any ideas what it could be?

Had the same problem, switch off, take out the coffee dispensing unit. close everything else up, drip tray, dregs box and front door etc then re apply power. It'll clunk and whir a bit then stop. Switch off and refit the coffee dispensing unit making sure it fits flush with the rear of the housing (you can check this by looking through the hole where the dregs drawer fits. power up again and it'll clunk and whir again as it resets the dispensing unit. I hope you'll find that it's ok now.

Emtied the dreg drawer when the SAECO machine was off.

Chenk the back of the area for the drawer, there might be some grounds preventing the draw from going all the way in to tell the microswitch that it is in place.

Hi, Our Gaggia machine will not disburse water through coffee dispenser. Sounds like its operating normally till water flow should happen. Then the motor slows down to nothing. Have descaled to no effect....

Try this press the button for ground coffee then when it lights up press the coffee brew button, if water flows normally then the grind on the grinder needs to be adjusted coarser, if no water then the screen on the brew unit is blocked.

Red Light 28 is flashing even when dregs are emptied

Check the edge of the container that goes in to the machine there is a small part that sticks out, it is possible that that piece is not touching the microswitch in the machine. Remove the drain tray and the dregs tray, check the corners of the machine for loose coffee grounds.

Unable to replace dreg box

If you look to the left side of where the dump box slides in you will see a opening in the case. This is the dump box switch. use a knife to hold the switch and turn the machine back on.

This will reset the machine to it proper position. I would recommend cleaking your machine so this doesnt happen.
