Though my Worx WG781 cordless 36V, 19 inch lawn mower came with what appeared to be a fully charged battery according to the battery LED lights , it is suggested that it be put on the charger "over night" to insure a complete charge. The charger LED light is supposed to flip from red to green when charging is complete. The battery has been charging for nearly 12 hours and the LED light on the charger remains red. Is this normal?

I have a different problem. When I try to charge my batter, the red light comes on for about 2 seconds, then goes out. The battery is not charging. Out of frustration I purchased a new charger, and it does the same thing. Thinking the battery was the problem, Worx sent me a new battery, but the exact same thing happens regardless of which charger is hooked up to either battery. The red light comes on for a couple of seconds, and then goes out. Any suggestions appreciated.

Could be.Those batteries leak charge even when not in use.I would let it go for 24-48 hours just to be sure.Unless the batteries or charger becomes very hot.

B&D 19” cordless mower. Why are wheels falling off?

Use locktite red on the threads. It may also be that one bolt is left hand thread and the other side is standard right hand thread. The should be on so that moving forward tightens the nut. You should also have two washers and a nut. I wonder if you have the one that was discontinued?

Worx 17'' Cordless Lawn Mower (Model WG787). I've got a barely three month old lawnmower and the battery is fully charged yet the blade only barely spins. Seems to be virtually no power despite the charged...

The batteries are defective in this unit. It should be returned to the dealer that you purchased it from and get exchanged, or your money back. Another way to test this mower is to charge the batteries fully, then test them. If they are truly fully charged, run the mower until it slows down, and test the batteries again. If they are still charged, (unlikely) then the problem is in the motor itself and still should be returned.

My worx 24volt mower just about stopped. the batter says its full charged (all green lights) but it barely spins. also the battery is really really hot. Almost too hot to touch it.

The battery is overheating and is shutting down as a safety measure. If allowed to continue overheating, you risk it becoming a fire hazard.

You will need to replace the battery and dispose of this one accordingly.
