the problem with jabra or so it seems is when the unit is left for long periods of time the battery becomes totally flat i.e 0.0v but the circuit in the units looks like it need to see just a small amount of voltage to enable the micro chip to work and start the charging process. so your headset and battery are probably ok, just need to get a small amount of boost in the battery to "jumpstart it" like jumpstarting a car with a flat battery, the electronics cannot function with a low voltage. i hope that makes sense to people other than me. and check my previous post and link to a small guide which may help you repair it yourselves

    good luck

Make sure it's charged. Hold button to turn on until you hear a rising tone. A blue light flash every few seconds says that it is on. If this fails, I suspect your battery will no longer hold a charge.

Wont turn on

If it is fully charged, press and hold the top button until the blue led light comes on. To get it into pairing mode you need to switch it off, then switch it back on but hold the top button down for 8 seconds until the blue light comes on and stays on

Check the Jabra support site for the manual.
It is a simple hold the volumne up when switching on and then if you want to renable it hold it down when switching on.

Headset won't go into pairing mode

Power off the device and do not turn it on before holding down the botton to put in Par mode. Once it is off, then hold down the button usually takes about 5 to 10 seconds to turn solid and enter par mode. If this does not happen you may have a defective unit and may need to return for a new one.

Not sure if Jabra bluetooth headset or charger that not working

I had the same problem, called support, they told me battery is defective or too old and doesn't accept the charge. Battery in a headset is hardwired and can't be replaced, so the whole thing is trash :(
