When I turn on my tablet Coby model MID9742 the screen stays black.

UNFORTUNATELY I WAS **** ENOUGH TO PURCHASE A COBY KYROS. LESS THAN A YEAR AGO AND NOW ALL THE SUDDEN IT WON'T TURN ON IT WON'T LIGHT UP IT WON'T DO ANYTHING. IS THERE AN EXPLA

check the on off switch and the battery, if its something other than this it will have to go to a repair center . which more than likely will cost as much as a new tablet.

My tablet wont turn on

if the charge light comes on then the unit may need to be replaced. Try connecting it to a PC to see if it detects it. If it does, you may be able to reinstall the firmware.

My coby MID7012 isn't going to the home screen after I charged it. Its flashing coby over and over. But its not turning on. What do I do?

Sounds like you are in a "Boot Loop". Let's try to break the Boot Loop. Plug the device into the charger, then press and hold the power button for 60 seconds - make sure the device is OFF after the 60 seconds. Let change overnight. Next Day, unplug the device from the charger, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds, wait 30 seconds, press and release the power button normally, the device should be out of the Bootloop.

Battery won't charge

Hello,I had the same problem with my new tablet and I sent it back to Coby and still have not got my new one.The company is sorry as far as I'm concerned. I tracked my tablet and it got to them on Dec. 7th and I still have not got my tablet,no replies from emails,nothing from Coby!!!

Mine does that to but all I ever do it just hit the reset button on the back and it turns back on.

It takes a long time to charge when Coby is completely dead.
I also tried the reset button but all I get is a keyboard asking for a password I guess.
