Maybe hook up the actual source of the TV audio (not necessarily the TV) directly to the Kenwood. Cable and SAT boxes have nice standard digital audio outputs. They're wasted on TV's which typically have sucko speakers. Lower-end analog audio is also available if you want to watch Cable/SAT throught the TV speakers.

Kenwood KR-V7080 receiver. No sound from rear speaker amp connections

Hi,

please check the wires of the speaker for damage. If interchangeable with the other working speakers, please temporarily swap them at check if the good speakers continue to work. If so, then you would need to most likely get the rear speaker replaced or repaired.

Thank you.

Kenwood KR-V7080 reciever will not play through speakers.I can still plug headphones into the reciever and get audio but not through the speakers. Tested the speakers and they still work.

If the speakers used to switch off when the headphone plug was put in the socket, suspect the socket it goes into as being the trouble. It is clearly not connecting the speakers, when the headphone plug is removed.

Kenwood RV7030 audio-video stereo has static without antenna

OK I am going to suggest two aerials for you. I would also NOT use the old cable as it will cause a lot of problems. It is best to replace it with the stuff they use for satellite dishes (see image).
The FM aerial will pick up signals from all sides. The TV aerial should give high quality signals and output for at least 5 sets.

Cable hook-ups for TV, Satellite Box, DVD, VCR

Use SCART lead from Sat. box to VCR input( so you can record progs.) then another SCART lead from VCR output to TV set AV1 input. Connect DVD (player only I presume) direct to AV2 input of TV set using another SCART lead.
Hope all this works O.K.
Note:- If DVD is also a recorder then you don't need VCR as a recording device and leads will need to be altered accordingly, of course!!
