I am using Samsung Monte. How do i block a number from sending me messages for a perticular period? How do i un-block it again?

Why didn't my friend request go through? Facebook is a place for connecting with friends, family, and other people you know personally.

Hi, you want to block and incoming messages on your cellphone,you try this select your Message-select message setting-select blocklist,you inter the inter number that want to blocklist and you save it,after that you never receive there message.thanks :)

When you send the message the error "message failed check detail" for this problem you have to check your message center number, if you don't have the message center number then call to your service provider and get the message center. then go the Message setting and set you message center number and then try to send you message, your problem is solve.

Below are the steps to block and unblock contact.

Block:

Dial a number which you want to block. Click on end call.
From the menu - tap on Logs Icon
Tap on the number which you want to block.
At the bottom - Middle of the screen, You will find three dots (...)
Tap on it.
Tap on Block contact.
A new screen will come - Block Contact.
You will have option to block - Call as well as message.

1) Call
2) Message

Put a check mark and click ok.
It will display the number, by saying it is blocked.



Unblock:


From the menu - tap on Logs Icon

At the bottom - Middle of the screen, You will find three dots (...)
Tap on it.
Tap on Block contact.
A new screen will come - Block Contact.
You will have option to un block - Call as well as message.

Un-check the mark and click ok.
It will display the number, by saying it is un blocked.

You can try few things to figure out.
1. If your credit is enough to send text message.
2. If the number is blocked by your side or from the recipient side.
3. If text centre is selected/typed correctly in the text setting

Most Samsung phones have a block list for messages. This is very useful if you are getting hassle from someone but it is too easy to inadvertently add someone you trust to the list.

I cannot remember where it is in the Tocco lite but look under the messages section for the blocked list and remove any numbers that are in there.

My friend once had a similar problem and her husband could not send her messages. She was shocked to find his number in the blocked list and as soon as I deleted it, he could send her messages again.

sir go to the message setting and select the scremed message option and then enter the perticular number to stop the calls and the messages.you cannot recive any messages and cellphone calls from the number..................

go to the message settings select the scremed message option and enter perticular number to stop the calls and the messages.[or] menu>settings>callsettings>divertcalls select and then enter the perticular number to divert the calls.............

First insert the sim on another mobile and check the Message center number from the Message settings (text message settings), note down the number, now insert the sim onto your handset and go into the message settings then text message and replace the message center number with the one you've noted down, save the changes made and restart your phone, it should work now.
