You need to have the temp regulator replaced.
SOURCE: Frigidaire Range control panel DEAD
We tested the EOC and it will indeed need a replacement. Also, just a couple weeks prior we ran the "clean" mode on the oven as did another poster who experienced the "pop" and loss of the control board/oven function, but still had stove top function.
SOURCE: how do you replace a burner switch on a Frigedaire Glasstop Stove
Hello,
The repair on this stove will be relatively easy then. All you are going to have to do is pull out the stove from the wall and remove the upper part of the back panel where the burner switches are.
Remove the knob and take out the screws that hold the switch to that front panel. Then from there just match up the wires to the new switch off the old one.
This repair will turn out to be pretty cut and dry for you. If you have anymore questions please ask.
Thanks Again,
Bill
SOURCE: frigidaire ceramic cooktop burner turned on by itself
It is the burner control (behind the knob). The triac in the control
has failed. $50 item, 10 minute change. Just make note which wire goes
to which terminal.
I doubt that it is the control board, as the
board has little to do with the stove top, but rather controls the
display and the oven temperature/feedback monitoring.
Hope this helps.

For $9.99 I will be glad to share the solution.
Hi - From what you have described the range could possibly be experiencing a faulty element/sensor or the communication to the element from the control board is now compromised. If you are referring to the left front element, the part number is 318178110/MSRP: $65.86. Right front element, part number 316224201/MSRP: $89.60. I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately and properly diagnose the range.
