SOURCE: hard to crank up

May sound a bit tacky but all pop ups are a bit tedious to crank up. In the event this IS NOT your first time to own or operate a pup. I apologize and suggest you post your problem on the pop up times and or the pux webpages. Both are reliable sources for people who have pop up up or small campers.

SOURCE: The entrance door handle on my coleman natache pop

I also have the same problem. The only way to get into the panel (without completely tearing it apart is to drill out the rivets across the top of the door. The reason the screw is turning is because inside it's held in place with a nut that is turning. You can get to those nuts once the top panel is removed. Can you do me a favor? Where did you find your replacement handle? I've been looking everywhere and it would be SO helpful to be pointed in the right direction!

How can i load my td8e dozer on a trailer that don't start

Much depends on the trailer. A low-loader with a low centre section is commonly used to move large loads but in the case of a dozer or other track laying vehicle these are driven on to the bed from the side and then turned. Duplicating that manoeuvre using winches or other vehicles for pulling and pushing could be a dangerous and lengthy process without assurance of success.

The safe and sensible solution would be to hire a mobile crane to lift the beast into place or use a couple of gantry cranes to lift it and then push the trailer under it. Getting the dozer running where it is would be the best solution...

A rear-loading trailer would solve the problem as the dozer could be pushed and winched onto it in a straight line.

If I was faced with your problem; needing to get a dozer onto a trailer with a low centre bed, I would dig a pit so the rear end of the trailer was below ground level and then using heavy timbers and props make a roadway so the dozer could be pushed and/or winched onto the bed from the rear. Using something like a 360 and an expert operator the pit could be dug quickly and have a slope the towing truck could manage...

How to replace lead coble on a flogstaff popup camper

There should be a metal channel running from front to back down the center if the trailer under the bottom of the trailer. There will be a pipe coming from each corner and connecting to this channel. Disconnect the four pipes from the center channel. In each pipe will be a heavy gauge spring type pusher (this is what actually raises the roof), pull each of these out of the center channel. Next you will need to remove the rear pulley from the bracket. This should be accomplished by pulling a hairpin keeper which will then allow the center clevis pin to be removed which will free the pulley. Next you will disconnect the cable from the winch drum. Now you will pull the cable free from the lower half of the center channel (If you look into the channel you will see that there is an upper and lower section). Once the cable is free from the lower section you will pull the cable free from the upper section. NOTE: The cable will be covered in grease and will be messy. Were rubber mechanics gloves or use rags to minimize the amount of grease on your hands and clothes. Now you are ready to install the new cable. Feed the cable through the upper portion of the center channel once it has cleared the rear end of the channel start to feed it into the lower channel. Now you can reinstall the lower channel push springs. This will help to determine how much cable should be in the channel. Next install the upper push springs. Now you can reinstall the rear pulley and last you can connect the new cable to the winch drum. The new cable will have a crimped lock with an oval washer at the end and another in the middle which will engage the push springs. The entire process should take about an hour and a half (rough estimate based on having a clean work shop, the proper tools and some mechanical abilities). Do NOT attempt to fabricate your own cable! It could lead to someone being seriously injured. If you need the main cable email me the year, make, model and overall length of the camper and I can get you a price. [email protected]

Have used 1981 Coleman pop-up camper and the mechanism that raises the camper up is stripped. Either need manual for 1981 Coleman pop-up or any idea where to get the part to fix problem. It's the screw...

My Coleman has the same problem. I can crank the top up but it will not hold in place.

I just leave the crank handle in place after raising the top and secure the handle to the bumper with a bungee cord. It's jury rigged but it works great.
