probably fusing thermistor defective

This may help if you tru the following.

Try to reset this code with "Clear Mode"+107+"Clear/Stop" hold for 5s.
Turn OFF then ON at the Power Switch.

If the above does not clear it, then it may be time to get a service engineer in as it could be that a board has given up inside.

SC553 means an overheat error on the pressure roller, but this RTB corrects this to an overheat error on the heating roller. As a solution the heating roller thermistor should be replaced or the connections of this thermistor are faulty.

sc990 is a general software error. It could be caused by a specific application or function, or it could be caused by a problem with the process control. In general, you can get rid of the sc990 error by turning the machine off with the main power switch (the orange switch on the left side of the copier) but if the error comes right back, the best first solution is to update the machine's firmware.

SC551 is thermistor pressure roller error. Check for paper jams in the fuser. It could need a new thermistor.

Make sure the fuser is secured and properly seated in the copier.
