RCA 32V434T Flashing Red Light

While watching the olympics tonight the TV suddenly shut itself off. After unplugging it for about 10 minutes and plugging it back in the power seemed to come back however the TV does not "turn on" or at least does not provide a picture. Instead there is a flashing RED light next to the power light (normally it is green).

If anyone knows what the flashing red light means (and more importantly how to fix it) please let me know. If the TV blew a fuse, where is it so it can be replaced?

You probably have either loose solder joints or components that failed after heats up. You need to look inside to see. Learn more about failed TV and monitors, caps.

My 32v434t television.

The TV was making the clicking noise and not turning on because an internal error was being detected.
Now things had got worse , and something had blown inside the TV.
The burning smell and high pitched noise is coming either from Flyback transformer or PSU board. Repair is a delicate matter and must be done by a technician.

RCA 32V434T (32'') TV has no Red or Green pixels, only Blue

The color problems are caused by cracked/broken solder joints on the circuit that controls the display. Usually this is located at the back of the tube on a small circuit board. Your description suggests that only the blue signal circuit is intact. I suggest these joints be resoldered for more strength.
It's a possibility that another IC senses this problem (or another one) and then shuts down the system.
Resolder those joints and see what happens.

On the Deflection board CK 3 capacitors cp150,cp114,cp120 If cp150 is puffed up on top it is bad 2200uf 16v /other 2 caps are 220uf 35v.Also resolder all pinns on FBT

Was the xformer RCA, new in the box ?.........

The silicon rubber seal is to moisture entry. Do not re-apply.
Make sure your connection is good.......

Did you hook-up signal to verify no sound ?

NSNP , HV ok = something wrong other than xformer....

Check all power supply voltages.....................T.

Check top of electrolytic caps for expanded,bulged or
what techs call "pooched".....................

RCA Model 32V434T Ch. #ATC010A will no come on. You can hear a click when it is turned and the red indicater light blinks. If you push the menu button after awhile the red light will stay on and not blink....
