I'm sorry I've actually done that already. I've been trying for quite some time now with absolutely no success. I'd say its one of kenwood's better car amp. The new replacement amp (kac-9105) is no where as good, and to add insult to injury, it doesnt come with a remote. how sad is that. Anyway thaks for your effort.

It is an actual wired remote with two volume controls on it, one for gain and the other for the frequency. I'm not talking about the remote wire that leads from the head-set to the amp.
