I have a couple possible solutions for you-

1) Find another battery operated device in your house that you do not use and remove the springs from it then place (glue if possible) into your wii balance board battery compartment.

2) If that isn't an option you could try to take some kind of small metal to keep it snug in the compartment while still being able to work.

Hopefully this helps

My keyless entry for my 07 Honda Civic dry roted and fell apart. A security feature is it won't crank. if the metal and plastic aren't together. I ordered a new empty shell but when I opened the old one...

This is a common problem on key-less entry control unis. They are very cheaply made, in time the contacts the hold the button battery in place get loose from the PC board because the solder joints fail On some models there's is a small spring that transfers power from one side of the board to the other, the spring may have fallen out when you took it apart so the power will only be on one side. look very closely inside the shells of the old one you should be able to see a small round wear spot someplace and a corresponding small hole etc on the other half of the shell, if you find them the small spring is missing. Use any metal spring that fits and snip it to the right height, then assmble and it should work, providing your battery(s) is good.

Battery spring broke on wii fit balance board

I had a similar issue when my kids mixed rechargeable and regular batteries in the Wii balance board. The acid leaked and the springs corroded. But I figured out a quick fix - see photos. The springs look just like the spring-end of a safety pin, so I just snipped the ends of two safety pins and fixed them in with needle-nose pliers. Safety pins conduct electricity and the fix works fine. Cheers.11_25_2012_7_33_33_pm.jpg11_25_2012_7_33_48_pm.jpg11_25_2012_7_34_04_pm.jpg11_25_2012_7_34_17_pm.jpg

Wii fit wont turn on, switch wont stay in

The switch on a Wii balance board is not one that stays in, it is not a spring loaded toggle switch. Also it will only stay on if you are in a game that uses it (like Fit, or a select few others). This is a battery save feature. If you are not logged in to a game that uses it the balance board senses that it is useless and turns off after a couple of seconds. This is true even if you have a game that uses it in the Wii but you are in the menu.

The light qit working. I changed the battery but still no light. I use this light daily since I am currently in Afghanistan and cant take it to a repair shop. Its only a year old is it time to replace it

when you took bak of did you notice a spring on top of movement about 5mm long and 1mm wide if not its been lost when you took back off you need this for your functions to work, if it is there then you need to AC the watch open watch refit battery on the movement there should be to letters normally AC or AD when you have fitted battery place a pair of tweezers or anything you can make to look like tweezers place one prong on top of movement then place other end on area at the AC symbol normally a round metal disc about 2mm wide and tap like tapping two fingers down at same time make sure your prong on the movement is touching a metal section you need to do this a couple of times..

Acer Notebook 4330 No Power/No Charge

Hello,

If the Notebook is only 1 month old i suggest you bring it back and see if they will replace it. Most likely the problem (for how you have explained it) is that the DC power pin (inside the notebook) is either broken or not soldered to the mother board correctly.
Being only one month old this is probably a faulty pin or installation from the manufacturer so this should not be a problem for the place you got it from to replace.

If you do have problems I suggest contacting the manufacture immediately to see if they will replace it.

I hope this helped

Have a great day.

Rechargable batteries drain as soon as they are put in the camera

Your circuit board has developed a short. There is only one way to fix it, replace the main circuit board. Buy an A530 camera with a cracked LCD online from someone, to fix it.

Replacement Battery

I have the same issue as well, I went to Batteries Plus and sized up some batteries, the closest one was a replacement for an IQUE 3600 PDA, Batteries Plus # PDA-35LI. 3.7 volt, 900MA. $39.99 you'll loose a little bit of the "new in the box" runtime however probably not much Its just a MM or two wider, however its slightly thinner AND it already has the right connector on it. The fit is almost perfect. Being wider it kinda hits the wires that go to the output pin connector however with one thick layers of double sided tape it clears them perfectly and being thinner there was no clearance issue getting it back together. Be careful if and when you take your unit apart, the flip up antenna has a spring loaded pin on the right side that can pop out, mine sprung out and not knowing what to look for it took some time to find it. There is a small silver spring and a black oval shaped pin. Its working perfectly now!

Good luck!

No sound

Is your battery indicator showing a full charge? Sometimes if it's not showing full then the sounds are disabled. If it's not full tape it to the inside of a window for a couple days and see if that gets the indicator up to "full charge" Otherwise you are going to have to send it in to have it repaired.
