I see you need to have your BIOS unlocked.

Only dell unlock your BIOS for you call DELL and get assistance on unlocking your BIOS, you can ge that to a computer shop but it will cost you and will most likely be done in a different way and may change many things on your Dell machine.

I strongly suggest that you call Dell for the BIOS to be unlocked all you have to do is call Dell and give them the systems service TAG number so they can give you the unlock code for the BIOS.

It required us to actually call Dell, give them the laptop's service tag number and they would give us the key combination and "code" needed to unlock it and clear the passwords. Dell is 1-800-822-8965 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 1-800-822-8965 end_of_the_skype_highlighting (US).

For that try password as "dell" or "DELL"
If it not works then you have to reset all settings of bios to factory defaults.
For that you need to open back side cover of laptop.
Open all screw in back side then remove cover then you find motherbord chipset .
Pull cmos cell from motherbord 15 minutes so all settings goes to factory defaults.

Check with Dell or a Dell forum; most manufacturers provide a master password or a method to reset it. Your problem isn't unique-

I is my understanding that you can contact Dell with the service tag, and express code and get the master password to clear forgotten passwords.
