Yes, when both lights are on.. it means the battery is charging. The "charging" light should turn off once the battery is fully charged.

If the "charging" light remains on 12 or more hours later, your battery might need to be replaced.

Have a golden compass power chair replace battery's & are fully charged have 2 amber lights flashing

Hello Michael. Fully-charged batteries should indicate a green light on the battery charger and should illuminate all the five LEDs on the Joystick. The batteries should take about 8 hours to be fully charged. If you charged them for less hours there is a possibility they were not fully charged. If you feel you charged them for enough time and the battery charger showed a green light, that is frustrating, but there is a chance either the charger or the batteries are faulty. Substituting both the charger and batteries or either of them may be the best solution.

I bought a Ryobi 12V drill w/ lithium charger. Green light on charger never went solid....continues to blink & fade. Does this mean its in the energy saving mode? Is it fully charged?

How long have you left battery on charger? It will take about 3 1/2 hrs to fully charge. t is probably not a good idea to leave the battery in the charger for long periods of time though, so once it is fully charged put it back in the drill. When fully charged the green led will turn solid. This link will have more info on charger and battery.

How can I know when my battery is fully charged?

You have two good batteries in the green side, the red light means that one or both batteries are not fully charging. Try that set on the other side to confirm. Make sure the batteries and charger connections are clean.
Hope this helps.

Have 2 lights on charger. One power, the other says charging. Both come on but after about 15 mins the charging light goes off. Does this mean the battery is charged?

so no lights go green, it depends on the charger however in my experience all of the charger i have repaired have a green light to show fully charge, is it possible to try another charger ? this could imply a faultly charger , can you check the battery voltage anywhere from 26 volts DC to 28.3 volts DC no more otherwise you shorten the life of the battery. You really want the voltage level to be near 28 volts that way you will get maximum distance as well as prolonged life of the batteries in question.

On my unit the guage does not seem to move upward as the battery charges or is the line to the far left indicate a fully charged battery

The meter on the charger indicates how much power the charger is putting out. The far left is zero (0) output, meaning fully charged. There should be numbers on the meter.

I have replaced joystick, batteries, motors and the chair still losing lights will go about 1/4 mile and loses all green lights with in 1/2 mile loses all the yellow lights, drove on 1 flashing light for...

Janice check your charger it could not be charging the batteries. Now always charge your batteries overnight while you sleep When you get up lights on the charger should be red and green if they are red and yellow then the charger hasn't fully charged the batteries and overnight should be more than enough time to charge fully. This could indicate a bad battery remember new doesn't always mean good. Like they say always charge before use and this goes for new batteries too you need to charge new batteries nightly for 10-15 days before they start operating at 100%. If when you plug in the charger before bed and the lights are red and green then there is a problem with the charger or the batteries or the charger circuit Hope this helps you

Ryobi charger model # 140295003 has a red and yellow light. When charging red light is on what does the yellow light mean? Also how long should the battery be left in the charger?

Hi,

The yellow light means that there still is an amount of charge on the battery, meaning that it isn't fully discharged. The red light means that it is partly discharged and you can charge it up.

Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate a 4 thumbs up. Thanks,

Batteries don't charge. I have a new battery, and neither of the old or new batteries work in the charger. I get flashing lights only, sometimes red, sometimes green, but in the end, the battery isn't...

Dust getting in the charger is a problem, Try blowing it out with a moisture-free dust remover, found at most any store. Green flashing means improper power, due to dust or power from the outlet, try a differant wall outlet. Red flashing means the charger or battery is to hot and must cool down before it will charge. The charger will not charge a battery if the lights are flashing. Solid Red light means it is charging and solid green light means it is charged. Plug the charger in first before putting the battery on the charger. If the charger has been droped or hit the floor the coil inside could have broke loose and dammaged the charger requiring it to be replaced.
