Heard lots of problem with similar case for this tv,you need to buy upgrade kit from the haier itself, there also available at Sears you will get instruction sheet will contain all information all you need is screw driver to replace the parts Control Board TV-5210-39, Y-SUS TV-5210-35, Z-SUSj TV-5210-37, New EPROM Chip 2006 version TV-2455-03, Upgrade Label TV-4050-08 and Haier Service Bulletin SB-TV-0003 containing the instructions to replace the boards yourself.

Sorry, the Haier Upgrade Kit is SOLD. My original post is months old and the kit sold right away. Good luck to you on locating another one.

Haier for sure recognizes the model. It's been a problem since produced. To correct the problem you'll need an upgrade kit. I'll attach the upgrade instructions and part number for the kit. Try resetting back to factory specs as noted at the bottom of instructions. Follow the procedure to a "T" when you see two menus pop up use the one on the right. The Haier fix kit is 3 boards to replace the 3 boards in your plasma. So the only way to get it done is to order from Haier/Sears. Sears knows this! Make them come to your home, it is a warranty issue.

Is the tv black screen with sound? That's usually the problem. The Sears service rep will come out, order the upgrade kit, the kit is mailed to your home, then you notify Sears and they return and install the 3 boards. You can do this yourself when the boards arrive and skip Sears, but only if your comfortable removing the back of the plasma (about 25 screws) and replacing circuit boards.

Harish.......If you've lost both audio and video you'll probably need the upgrade kit. If it were just video you could get by for sometime with replacing the slow blow fuse on the s-zus board. Check your eprom chip on the digiatal board to see if it appears burnt. If so it may have fried. If you'd like the service manual I'll need your email address

In one of my earlier post I posted the phone number where to order the board. However they were on back order so I got lucky an located the upgrade kit on Ebay. I'll post the part number for the kit and boards you need. TV-3940-01 is a kit that contains the following parts:
Control Board – TV-5210-39
Y-Sus – TV-5210-35
Z-Sus – TV-5210-37
EEprom (2006 version) - TV-2455-03

There is a easy fix - Most of you purchased your television at Sears or BrandsSmart Stores - No picture but you can hear sound - the part you need is the upgrade kit - part: TV-3940-01 - the part is not always available.

You need the upgrade kit - make Sears come out and order it for you - they know all about it, claim that the monitor should have been recalled. Mine was out of warranty, however I convinced them to fix the TV.
