Windows 10
Windows 10 uses troubleshooters to help you solve problems with your PC. To run a troubleshooter:
Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
Select the type of troubleshooting you want to do, then select Run the troubleshooter.
Allow the troubleshooter to run and then answer any questions on the screen. If you see a message that no changes or updates were necessary, you can try recovery options, or find out more about Outlook error codes and upgrade and installation error codes.
Windows 8.1 and Windows 8
Select Start > Settings >Troubleshooting, and then follow the instructions for the kind of troubleshooting you want to do.
Windows 7
Select Start > Control Panel > Troubleshooting, and then follow the instructions for the kind of troubleshooting you want to do.

There is problem with an ACER 4736Z, system unbootable. It already fixed in new version of BIOS. You should download it here. If you can't upgrade Bios on Windows, you can also upgrade through DOS environment.

My Laptop won't play Cds or Dvds

see if it can still boot the cd , put in a windows cd
go into the bios and set the cd as boot device in boot order.
save and exit with cd in drive
you will get a prompt at boot to press any key to boot cd
do this and let it run until the next prompt screen then exit .
if it never will boot the cd , time to replace drive.

My Laptop won't play Cds or Dvds

check in control panel, system device manager to see if the system can see it..if it can, and drivers are ok, then it's the actual device(those are not too sturdy usually).
