Right hand side park light and rear tail light not working- fuse?

As Glenn said, it could just be globes. Strange though how both front and rear have gone out at the same time? Could possibly be a bad connection or broken wire. I doubt if its a fuse. The fuse will protect the entire lighting system. If it blew, then none of the lights would work. try new globes first. If you have a close look at the ones you pull out, you can see the filament which sits across some holders inside the globe, if its flapping around and dangling and one end is free, you know the globe has blown.

The headlights on my 1989 mazda 626 work fine, but the high beams dont work at all.Can you help?

replace the globes , the high beam and low beam are in the same globe , i have berfore had this happen , when replacing dont let any part of your fingers or hands touch glass part of bulb , or you may find you will be doing this again very shortly.
any finger print will cause a hot pot on globe and cause future failure .

if you remove a globe you may visually look at it and see if one of the to globes springs are broken , or is there is any discolourment in the globe itself , just change the one that is easiest to get first and test , then if that works fine , then you wont have to check any futher wiring problems.

but i am sure this will be the reason for no high beam , unless you high beam switch on light swith lever arm is faulty .
but globes are cheap so begin there first.. hope this is helpful

How do I remove the light from the ceiling?

Sent you a question on this but did not receive a reply.
If you are talking about removing the grill/globe to change bulbs, it just pulls down from the ceiling. There is a heavy "V" spring on each side that needs to be compressed to pull the grill/globe down. Once it is down as far as it will go, the springs need to be squeezed together and the ends removed from the metal box in order to take the grill/globe off. It is not necessary to remove the grill/screen completely to change bulbs.
Please see my other message.

unlike the older models were there was a small compartment were you could take of a small covering and unscrew / replace the globe they are now a sealed unit if you take the entire top of youl see the globe and black globe holder dont try to unscrew it they dont unscrew if you can order a new globe holder included then simply install as per removal but be carefull microwaves hold a lot of power even when disconnected from power dont touch the capacitor or it will shock you

Down light globe change

usually the light is changed by just rotating the inner part of the face. This should then drop down where you'll find the globe held in place by 2 metal pieces. Simply pull the globe out and put a new one in. Oh and it doesn't matter which way you connect the 2 wires to the globe either (turn off the light switch first).
