Hey, when I plug in my Syncmaster T190 made by Samsung, all I get is a red flashing light that doesn't stop. When I press it, it is unresponsive and doesn't turn on and it keeps flashing. I've tried changing plugs, sockets, with monitor, without. Have you got any suggestions on what i can do? Thanks.

SOURCE: Cannot find VESA holes...Samsung Syncmaster 970p

I have looked at the specification for this, and although it does show as being VESA compatible (This is a display standard) There is no mention of any "wall mounting" capabilities at all, which would lead me to believe that this is not designed to be put on a mount. also the "Magic Rotation" Technology which is part of this device may rely on it using the proprietory stand, it may well be possible to remove the stand however, but it would require some significant dissasembly as the power connector is on the signal box, and this would need to be seperated from the stand itself. The mounting bolts look to be hidden behind the round pivot cover on the back, and it may be possible to see if mounting is possible simply by removing this, however I would seek information from the manufacturer about this as removing any of the covers would most likely invalidate your warranty, it is possible that this was missold to you and you should be able to take it back as not being fit for purpose.

I would try another monitor to see if your system is functioning properly. I think your monitor is going bad on you. If the other monitor that you barrow is working fine on your system then I'll be looking for another monitor.

Have you checked all the inputs to the television? It might be blinking because it doesn't see a signal. If all the inputs are secure try pressing the input select button on the remote. If that doesn't work it never hurts to try unplugging the power cord, waiting a minute, and plugging it back in.

Im trying to charge my camera via computer. . there is a red light on the charge cable connector and a green light on the camera which i have switched "on". it still says "low battery even...

Hi, I'd suggest using a wall charger as they're able to provide more power to charge then a computers USB port. Often with camera's the USB port doesn't supply enough power so the camera doesn't charge at all.

Brightness bar stays in the center of my screen Samsung SyncMaster 731N

Hello,

I'm Adam and i'm a computer-technicien!

I should do these 2 things do hide this brightness bar:

-You can click the MENU button again!
-You can simply disconnect the power-cable from the monitor and
let it unplugged for like...10-15 seconds!
-You can remove the button with a screw-driver and take the
little plastic on the second button.

If this all doesn't work...
I can recommend you to send a email to SAMSUNG with this info:
-Name:
-Date when you bought this product:
-When did this start:
-And your CPU information:

If this all doesn't help...
You ned to install a driver called 'Syncmaster 720n/730n driver'!

Thank you,

Samsung LN46A650 that cycles on and off with no picture. The red light flashes in the lower right hand corner. Still no picture. Have to unplug power supply to turn it off.

Turn it on and let it run for about 30 seconds. If it still doesn't work... unplug it, wait 15 minutes, plug it back in, then try again. If that doesn't work, you might want to contact Samsung to see if it needs repaired or replaced.

When my Motorola H720 is plugged in, the red light is flashing quickly, what could be wrong with this? It does not seem to turn on either....problems?

Red light flashes when I try to charge it and nothing all other times. Doesn't turn on, doesn't work. I pretty sure the problem is that it is a piece of junk.

How do I remove the case from my Samsung Syncmaster t190 monitor? I removed the screws from the stand, but I can't get more than the bottom loose.

Hi,
my daughter's 3 year old SyncMaster T190 monitor developed a fault last week -it switches on ok, perfect display for about one minute, then the screen goes blank. It's the same with either DVI or VGA input.Switching off for a few minutes enables the display again, for about a minute.
Other Samsung monitors exhibit similar faults, mostly due to blown Capacitors. So, rather than junk the T190, I decided to open it up and check for damage capacitors.
But how to dismantle it? After spending over an hour searching the web, without success, I had another go.
Here is how:1. remove the foot dish (undo butterfly screw at bottom)2. swivel the remaining stand post RIGHT back, as far as it goes (it may be quite stiff, I had to use WD40)3. stand the monitor on its top edge, you can now see 2 small cut-backs on the post, where it enters the monitor case4. use a small Philips screwdriver and remove the two screws hidden there5. remove the screw holding the two cover halves of the post together6. remove the covers7. the metal core of the stand, with its hinge part, is now exposed8. pull this out (NOT easy!); the part inside the monitor is shaped like a spade and is a very tight fit! I tapped it with a small hammer while pulling hard.9. when it is removed, you can access 2 screws that hold the bezel and housing together.10. gently insert a small flat screwdriver all along the four edges of the bezel and snap it apart11. the remaining parts can now be dismantled; some cables need unplugging (make a note of polarity!)
If anybody needs more information, please email me, I have taken some photos
PS - all capacitors were ok, I've no idea what's causing the fault.

Display doesn't turn on, emits short beeps and blinks lights

Sounds like a low power problem, Check the power supply with a good ohm meter set to DC voltage if voltage is less than 14 v. Replace the supply. DWW
