Hello,

The TV is turned on. The TV showing "no signal" is an indication that is turned on. Its just that the TV is not recieving any signal whatsoever from an antenna, DVD player or dish.

I suggest you connect thee TV to a DVD player. Click source on the TV remote to AV 1. Use a RCA (yellow white and red wire) for the connection.

Yellow stands for video and white and red stands for audio. Connect yellow to "vidoe out' from the DVD player to 'video in' at the back of the TV. Do the same for the audio white and red.

Now there should be a display on the TV. If there is not display, check your connection.

Let me know if need more help.

Your sincerely.

Why won't my TV accept the Av signal from my VCR?

A couple of possibilities. First a faulty cable or socket on either the TV or VCR. Next the VCR is plugged into the wrong AV connection.

Tv says no signal

Do you know for sure that it is getting a signal? Put some type device, DVD Player, VCR or something that you know is providing a signal to it and see if it's actually in the TV. Also use another Coaxial cable. if it still does it, try the HDMI. If you still get no signal then the main board has gone out in it. If you can get HDMI and no RF signal then it is the tuner board. Most of the time these are not made into the main board and are fairly inexpensive to buy on the internet. With a little screw operating instructions you can fix it yourself. You are welcome to come back and ask me directly if you need further instructions. These new flat screen do not store the super high voltage like the old one's did. It just a matter of taking out screws and changing boards and don't worry about marking the wires if you have to unplug some. TVs have always been made where you CANNOT plug them back in wrong, if the plug don't go to a particular socket it will not go. It will only plug back in where it is suppose to, so no worry there. Speaking from 10 years experience and work on them every day.

Signal lights don't work

Soudn like a problem with the turn signal FLASHER go to bad. Check location under the drivers side of the dashboard, look for a round silver disc that has prongs on the back .It is attached to the fuse panel and it is directly above the brake pedal mounted to the right of the steering column.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Hi colleenyts,
Your LCD doesn't have a digital tuner to decode the over the air digital channels. A cheaper alternative for now would be to get a digital to analog converter box.
Let me know if you required further assistance.

My ps3 won't show on tv but it show that it's playing

Are you saying that it has sound but no video?

Plug only the video plug (yellow) to the TV. Turn on the backswitch. When the red light in front is on, put your finger on the on/off button in front AND KEEP IT THERE. You will hear some beeps; don't worry about that. Keep your finger on the button until the front power light goes red again. This resets the PS3 video settings. Turn the PS3 on and the TV should pick up the signal.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted.

No turn signals they come on but don't flash

It's probably the turn signal flasher. It is usually located under the dash along with the hazard light flasher. If you don't know what it looks like, then go to a parts store and look at a new one. Once you have located one, then remove it. Try the hazard flashers. If they work, then replace that flasher with a new one. If they don't, then reinstall that flasher and look for another one like it. When you find one, replace it with the new flasher and try the turn signals. (remember : the key must be on for the turn signals to operate). I hope this information helps you and thank you for using Fixya.com.
