Samsung M8800 Pixon comes with a built-in
GPS receiver. Unfortunately, for some reason, the Google Maps
application that comes preloaded is unable to detect the
built-in GPS unit. This means that unless you install a third party GPS software, it is only good for geo-tagging with the camera.
You can use the free Mobile GMaps application which is able to
use the internal GPS. It doesn't offer voice-guided
navigation. MGMaps is fully capable of utilizing the touchscreen capabilities of the
handset making it one of the best that the Pixon users can get.

Its obvious from the problem you are experiencing with your GPS device that,the memory space available on your device is not enough to effectively run the navigating application on your sylvania,hence its requesting for sufficient memory,
This might be as a result of the fact that the device is either corrupted by a virus,or it's memory is insufficient for the navigation application,
The solution goes as follows;
1.Insert an external memory card of the right specification(at least 1GB) into the memory slot provided.
2.If the problem persists,then you should perform a hard reset on your device,which is clearly described in your user manual.afterwards the problem will be solved.
This is a common problem if you have lots of other applications installed and/or running at the same time on the phone. I would recommend going through and making sure you uninstall some programs if you can and also use Task Manager to unload what other programs you can.
try using internal GPS... let it be managed by Windows itself... Do not set to manual selection... I am using GPS on Google Map on HTC P3400 from 10 months...
