Hi! I have a TruTech PVS-12701 Portable DVD and I was wondering if it can play movies from CDs as well. What movie formats does it support? I have old movies on VCD that I want to watch it says that it is not valid. Please help.

It seems that your DVD player does not support anything else but a DVD.

What you can do is copy the video files from the VCDs to your computer's hard disk and burn them in a DVD so that it can read them , that would be a good idea to make use of your dvd player to view your VCDs in them.

You can use a dvd burning software if you have a dvd writer in your pc for this purpose.
