Did you ever find a manual? I also have a Krups Type 251 juicer and I want to find out if I should be using the plastic strainer strip with everything I juice or just with certain fruits or vegetables.

Make sure the button that turns on the top is all the way turned to the right. I have had similar instance where the button was slightly turned and it did not work.

For Nespresso C250, you can look up Krups 554 or 580 and I found this manual http://safemanuals.com/user-guide-instructions-owner-manual/KRUPS/NESPRESSO-PROGRAMATIC-554-_E for download. I'm pretty sure this is the one!
