Hello & Welcome to FixYa

F35 error means that there is some sort of issue with the steamer electronic board and analog pressure sensor has gone bad. Check that the hose is firmly attached with the washer and is not blocked. You can also check the water level pressure switch operation. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the quick response. Which hose are you referring too? Also, how can I check the water level pressure switch operation?

I was referring to the drain hose, you can take out the bottom access panel and clean the drain filter assembly completely.

Hi, I returned from a month and a half vacation and my machine was working well before I go, now it keeps on appearing F35 and SUD, I have to click on drain cycle to empty the machine. It is not working...

Mine was doing the same thing. It's less than a year old. When I called for service, they told me F-35 was a "steamer component error" and requires a service call. If yours is still new, it should be under factory warranty and service is free.

My kenmore washer showes sud code

If it is similar to the Whirlpool duet,

Try using less soap (hi eff machine)
try using more fabric softner
to clear the occasional Sud warning, I run the machine on "quick wash" with no detergent/additive. gives it two more quick spin cycles in 30-35 minutes, usually clears it.

Hi. As for a warranty, most battery suppliers give a 6 month warranty or a 1-year warranty. The machine will take 35 amp/hour batteries. Make a few phone calls around your area, and go for the best price and best warranty.
Good luck. Neil.

Error code F 35 and SUD code

Save yourself a lot of time and money and replace the analog pressure switch. This will solve your issues by taking care of both error codes at the same time.

Have "sud" code and"f 02" code

I don't have a solution but I feel your pain.

I had an F02 error flashing so I got brave and took off the front panel and opened up the drain thing. What a mess! Water everywhere and OMG,the filter was caked with goop, a popsicle stick and a piece of metal.

I still get a Sud error so I am having the Sears guy out in the morning.

Error code

Our new Whirlpool Duet had the same problem after only three months of use. We contacted Whirlpool since the washer is still under warranty. The issue is a "bad pressure switch". The part number is W10156252. Service company replaced the part yesterday, and the washer is working like normal. Whirlpool nor the service company had any explanation why the part would go bad in such a short time. No charge since the washer is under warranty.

WARNING - There must be a shortageWe were initially told that the part was backordered for 2 to 3 weeks. We even tried to obtain the part through other vendors and got the same time frame. Furious with the potential of being without a brand new washer for 3 weeks, we spent many hours on the phone with Whirlpool trying to expedite the part. After some strong encouragement and moving the issue up the chain of customer service, Whirlpool agreed to pull a part from the factory inventory where the washers are built. The only problem is that nobody could tell us when, or if, the new part would be shipped. Suddenly, the part just arrived by FedEx at our house. In all, our washer was inoperable for 1 week. Be persistent. They will tell you over and over there is nothing they can do.

If you negotiate well, Whirlpool will extend your factory warranty for an additional year.
