With the SX130 I've seen that before, it seems to be caused by the bulb burning out. Your best bet will be to contact Canon.

I have a triangle error symbol in the lower right hand side of my printer, it has a lightning bolt inside of the symbol........what does this mean?

Canon printer light blinking error is a common error. Each printer features a flashing light to indicate its functionality. With Canon printers, you have flashing green and orange lights to inform you of any existing problems. It is suggested to carefully observe the number of flashes or the pattern of blinking lights as this will help you to understand the problem. And depending on the pattern, you can follow our canon printer troubleshooting guide mentioned below to solve that issue.

What does triangle with lightning bolt mean on Canon printer?

The orange triangle with the lightning bolt comes on when the printer is plugged in. The white light above the power button is on, but the printer is otherwise dead.

What does the orange triangle mean on my Canon printer?

When a printer error occurs, the Alarm lamp flashes orange as shown below. The number of flashes indicates the type of error that has occurred. Count the flashes and take the appropriate action to correct the error. Power Lamp Flashes Green.

What does the triangle symbol mean on my canon printer?

How do i get the flashed turned on

First, check to make sure you're not in the macro mode. There's a slide switch on the end of the camera, near the SD card slot. Slide the switch away from the flower toward the mountain to take it out of macro mode. The flash won't fire in macro mode.

Then, if the flash still doesn't fire, take a look at the flash mode. Press the up-arrow button to bring up the flash menu. If it's currently set in the lightning-bolt-in-a-circle-with-a-slash-through-it symbol, you've got the flash turned off. Set it to the lightning-bolt-and-"A" for automatic flash or the lightning-bolt for forced flash.

If the flash still doesn't fire, then it's broken.

I have a easy share c533 and thought it had capability of the flash NOT going off - apparently i am hitting the red eye button - it looks like a flash zaggy arrow pointing down - what is this where is the...

The lightning bolt is the fill-flash symbol. Red-eye reduction is the eyeball symbol. Flash off is the lightning bolt in a circle with a slash through it. There's also an auto flash mode, represented by a lightning bolt with the letter "A".

Repeatedly press the flash button on the top of the camera to cycle through the flash modes.

How do you turn the flash off on a kodak easy share c813

Press the flash button (marked with a lightning bolt symbol, next to the on/off button) repeatedly to cycle through the different flash modes. The four available modes are Auto (lightning bolt and letter "A"), which flashes when needed; Fill (lightning bolt), which always flashes to fill in shadows, Redeye (eye), which flashes once to dilate the subject's pupils then flashes again to take the picture, and Off (lightning bolt in a circle with a slash through it), which never flashes.

The flash will not work. I think something needs to be reset but not sure how to do that.

On the Navigaton direction button on the back of the camera the "Right direction" button has a little lightning bolt sign.

Repeatedly press this button while the camera is in picture taking mode to go through the flash settings sequence. (Watch the display while pressing this button)
Settings:
1 No Flash, Lightning bolt circled with slash across it.
2 Auto Flash, Lightning bolt with an "A" beside it.
3 Auto RedEye remover, includes an "eye" symbol.
4 Flash Always On, Lightning bolt alone.
5 Unknown, I don't know what the S mode is, I haven't used that one before (something to do with ISO virtual film speed setting).

Have fun.
Hope this was helpfull.308b6a1.jpg

Describe how to turn on the flash

Hello,

On the control button (large button on the back) at the top is a symbol that looks like a lightning bolt with an arrow tip. This is also the UP arrow. When you press it continually, the flash options will be noted by symbols.

No indicator - Auto
Lightning bolt - Flash forced on
Lightning bolt followed by SL - Slow Synchronized flash
Lightning bolt with the circle and line through it - Flash Forced off

You can refer to the manual for your camera at:

http://www.docs.sony.com/release/DSCS500.pdf

Use of the control button is on Page 17.

Thanks for using Fixya.

Flash

Each make/model may be a little different but if your model has a button to raise the flash, you need to open/raise the flash. If your camera's flah is already visable, make sure the setting for flash (symbol of lightning bolt) is set on Auto

Pictures taking too long, and a lightning bolt symbol appears

Hi, Could you please tell us what camera model this is?
I believe you replaced with new fully charged batteries.
Try changing the memory card. Old defective memory card will delay between shots.
If it still doesnt work, try updating the firmware of the camera.
Hope it helps...
