I had a vw42lf, worked great but one day hdmi1 quit working, hdmi2 still worked. vizio replaced my tv for free. I got it today, hooked it all up and cant get any of the hdmi to work. i dont have anything else to check it with beside the jvc dvd player. i am going to get another new hdmi cable tomorrow to see if that is problem, but i been reading about all the hdmi problems vizio is having. what do you think and how do i access factory menu for this model tv. thanks also, i hooked dvd player up with s video it works fine. it is either the tv, the cable, or the dvd player. all three are new. HELP
The factory menu won't help you diagnose anything. If you are having issues on both HDMI ports, definitely check the cable and that the output works on the DVD player, try this on another TV if possible. If all else fails, call Vizio @ 1-877-MYVIZIO and they will send one of us techs out to replace the main A/V board, that should resolve your problem.

I have a 60' Vizio LED Smart TV. Everything works fine except since I had a cable box hooked up with the cable company I can no longer access the Smart TV apps. My password won't work and I can't find how or where to change it. Is there any trick to changing the password in settings or getting the current password to work?
