The power supply unit of my Sansui 42 in Plasma TV is Faulty. Its make is Samsung P/N 3501Q00160A-REV.A and S/N SE06803740. Kindly assist me find a replacement.

I suggest an authorised Samsung repair agent, (a list can be found on the Samsung web site), otherwise you will get panel changers and not engineers that repair to component level.
One common culprit of this issue power supply issue, caused by a faulty power supply unit or the TV not receiving enough power, caused by faulty electrolytic capacitors on the Power Supply board.

I have sansui television 42"model number STY0342, plasma 3D.when l turn it on sometimes it takes time to switch on after turning it on.it will change the standby light to blue.what might be the problem.

Plasma TV's are notorious for power supply problems, its most likely failing capacitors in the power supply. If you can find a repair shop i would take it in, otherwise you might also be able to find a replacement power supply board online, but its a crapshoot to find a good one so its better to try and repair/rebuild the one you have. If all else fails its just time for a new TV. It sucks, i know, but i see so many 2-3 year old TV's failing its like a plague of the repair shop.

I could be the bulb, but I would put money on the power supply being faulty. It is a common issue with the Samsung plasma's.

I doubt that moisture damaged the SMPS bd.
There are many circuit boards in your set and it will take a trained samsung tech to find the problem.

You have a faulty power supply call Samsung and request service for free. If they say no replace it yourself and get parts from ebay.

THE ONLY SOLUTION I FOUND WAS TO CHANGE THE POWER SUPPLY CARD INSIDE. WHICH IS NOT DIFICULT AT ALL
