Maxtra Aikae induction cooktop, continuous flashing light to timer both sides. Stainless steel saucepans not working, but work on an LG induction. One frypan will only works on back rings. Brand new bought on ebay company says to get it fixed but without wiring diagram or spare part availability can't find anyone to help.

Hotpoint induction hob wont turn on

Check power supply at socket or meter box. Make sure that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Also, induction cooktops wont heat without induction cookware. They must be steel. Glass cookware wont work on an induction cooktop.

Could the error code possibly be E-21? If so, this error is commonly referred to an issue with the oven thermal sensor. Typically, the over thermal sensor is in the open position. A professional would need to verify continuity of sensor harness and connections. Depending on an accurate diagnosis the part may need replacing. I hope this information help to some degree.

Fix scratches on stainless steel appliance

Verify AC input voltage at the cooktop input. Verify AC main input cables, screws and jumpers. Verify the fuse resistance to be approximately 0 ohms on the Induction Module. Replace the Filter Board on the Induction Module.

Generally there is a number after the F. It sounds like some liquid got into the electrical, sometimes if you wait about a week for it to dry it will work. If not, you would need to call a service tech

Yes you can use any sause pan on the cook top. You will not damage it at all.

This is an anomally that may require replacement of your Maxtra Aikae induction cooktop. induction cooktops work with cooking vessels made of magnetic material and if they too do not work, it gets trick. if you have warranty, i would recommend you have it replaced. thank you for using fixya.
