How can i send videos and pictures with an LG PK500 from another country to the U.S? When Trying to send videos as MMS is says that the URL is invalid?

you have to ask your carrier to open your gprs/mms. some cellphones automatically opens the mms thats why most users doesn't know that we have to make a request to our carriers to open our mms so that we would be able to receive picture messages.

you have to check if your mms service settings is in order and the phone you are trying to send to must also be configured in a way that it can recieve picture messages before you can send a picture message.

you must change the mms settings,

first go to settings>more>connection>Network profiles
click on new and enter the following,

connection title:
T-Mo MMS

bearer:
GPRS

authentication:
PAP

username and password:
leave them blank

apn:
epc.tmobile.com

and save it.

After that go to:
messaging>message settings>multimedia message>message center>options
and click on new and enter the following:

Name:
T-mobile mms

MMSC URL:
http:/mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc

MMSC PROXY:
216.155.174.050

MMSC Port:
8080

Connection mode:
TCP without Proxy

Network profile:
T-Mo MMS

and save it. after you save it click on it again and you will have the option to activate it.
click on activate.

firstly contact your operator and request for sending you the mms activation settings once you receive them as a message save them on the phone now you are ready to send and receive MMS messages

now to the part of sending an MMS
go to messages click on the

• menu then New then MMS
• now key in the addresse in the TO part and in the msg body
• go to select insert Picture/ Video to insert a picture or video from your gallery
• similarly if you want to add text select the text
• also the same for audio

you can select all or any of the picture/ text/ audio and send as an MMS

2. Scroll the screen up and tap Messaging settings.
3. Tap Multimedia Message
4. Scroll down and tap multi msg centre
5. Tap the bottom left icon and tap Add New
6. At Title tap and enter TMobile
7. for MMSC URL enter http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
8. than save and activate the profile.. I think this should work. I just did it to mine cause I was having same problem it is now saying its sending so we shall see what happens lol

may be mms facility is not activated so contact your customer services and activate mms on your phone
