The problem is hard water. www.dishwasherfilter.com has a product to solve this problem once and for all. It filters the water going into your dishwasher and removes the hard minerals that leave those spots. It is very affordable and even has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look with this product.

Remove hard water stains from inside dish washer

one of the biggest problems with dishwashers, is the insides of it get covered with rust colored stains usually from the hardness of the water in your area.

the stains build up slowly from the water evaporating during the drying cycle, leaving mineral deposits on the interior of the unit.

By luck, I tripped upon a easy solution, thanks to one of my kids.

It seems she wanted to help out,and instead of putting dish washing soap in before starting the load, she put TANG breakfast drink in the dispensers.the citric acid seems to be the ingredient doing the trick.

Unbelievable, but true, the tang removed ALL of my staining, in one run.

give it a try, you'll be amazed.

TANG is a registered trademark of kraft foods.

Kenmore 70 series, leaves browb lines on clothes. is there cleaning procedure for the washer?

It could be coming from your fabric softner. I know when I use liquid fabric softner I get oily looking stains on clothes. I no longer use liquid softner. I also use Dawn dish soap in my washer. I use Dawn instead of any other stain removers. Dawn dish soap works on everything.

Washing leaves spots in dress shirts

What you could possibly try, is run an empty load, to wash the washer drum clean of sediment. If the washing macine drum is stained, clean it by hand with a cleaning compund, like clorox or some other kind of cleaning solution. Another thing that you can try, is to use the dish washer cleaning solution that they sell, to clean dish washers of sediment. It comes in a small white, plastic square container and Walmart sells it.

Film on Dishes

We had this problem too. We switched to the Electrosol tabs (with the red dot in the middle) for soap, and it seems to have fixed the problem. Make sure you have the rinse aid in there too. Good luck!

White film on dishes

Experience : 30 years in dish washing as a professional instructing hospitals and restaurants.
It is not necesaasry to cover the heating element as long as sufficient water is present so as to not STARVE the water pump.
Listen to the sound of water serging with the machien running. If it is contant you have enough water if the sound comes and goes then the pump is serging . either lyou have a low water level or CLOGGED strainer in the bottom of the machine (inside).

you might also open the door real fast during the wash and check for water splashing and flows---- you might get wet but this way works .(wear protective eye shields)

water levels can be raised by BENDING the tab on the bottom of the float which controls water level...much like a toilet tank float.
Also finally if soap levels are too high the soap will not rinse off regardless of the amount of "rinse fluid you use.
