Check the fuses on the convergence output pwb. If either one is open replace the STK output devices. Also, check for any ring or service cracks in the soldering of the other components on this pwb.

Suspect any of the convergence output devices and elect caps on the convergence control and output boards. Use an ESR meter to check condition of caps and change questionable ones. Also, check for possible ring cracks at the convergence output devices. As old as this unit is, you may also want to check for bad filters in the power supply circuits.

Center the static convergence controls on the front of the set. Readjust the mechanical centering magnets on the neck of thr crt.

The only other thing you can try is cleaning the mirrors,(that set had two) and removing the 3 tube assembly and cleaning the faces of the picture tubes and lens.

Vertical lines or patterns indicate that something is wrong with either circuit board or the screen.
Since you already checked for circuit board, its the screen which is defective. You may have to replace the screen instead you can buy a new TV.
or get any cheap used TV (same model) from ebay and try to fix the screen...

Problem with screen check for cracks
Keep the ventilation openings clear.
Do not put TV near appliances that create magnetic fields.
If your TV is suddenly moved from a cold to a warm place, unplug the power cord for at least two hours, so moisture that may have formed inside the unit can dry completely.
This buffer board normally will just bypass the video to the screen from the main digital board.
There could be other problems with the main digital control board but it could also have a problem with the flex cables that connect from 6871QRH037A to the plasma panel.
