I want to order/download a manual asap for Brother LC61 Series (fax, scanner, printer,copier). I am in a new company & no manual is to be found. HELP!

Well the user guide for this machine (which you should already have) talks all about 'unable to init xx' on pages 139 and 140.

yes you must remove the plastic strip before inserting the cartriges other wise the ink cant cover the head or jet

Without the exact model I can't give you a direct link.

However if you go to: http://www.brother.com/html/download/index.htm

And select your region you will be able to browse to your printer and download all the software and manuals

LC 61 is the product number of the ink cartridges, not the machine.
Some fax machines can automatically flip and scan both sides of the page. It will be a setting in the Sending options available when you insert the pages to be sent.
Otherwise, you'll just have to copy the back sides first (You can use your fax as a copier.), mix your front and back sides in order, and send the whole stack. Give your new pages a few minutes to dry so they feed better when stacked.

i dont know that you can -- you may be able to buy a wirelss adapter for it .. but according to the specs its a 5 in 1 , and wirless capable is not indicated in the specs -- dont take my word for it, call brother 1-877-276-8437
