If any cameras on night vision the pic soo fuzzy u cant see, NV off it goes back to visible?

At night can you see the red led's ? If not they are not working. Make sure in camera settins if there is a option to enable night vision. If you mean at night it is fuzzy cloudy then it could be led's are bouncing light back creating a hazy whitish image. Or lens is dirty on the inside which it happens. Last is low end low quality cameras

How to use night vision? Do I have to put cameras outside?

Hi there, "nightvision" means if there is very low ambient light available for the camera eye, the small LEDs you see around the lens provide "light" for the eye/lens of a different "wavelength" as to not disturb the subject, but still provide a good video signal at the receiver. Hope this helps.

Why does the video recordings now in black & white when previously was in colour

I had a similar problem with different camera and contacted the manufacturer. The tech told me this can happen when the batteries are low and the camera converts to B&W to save energy.

Or, the tech said, you may be shooting in light so low that the camera is converting to night vision which is always B&W. If your camera does not have a night vision feature, you might want to check the batteries. They also told me not to use cheap AA batteries.

Bunker hill security color camera model 95914 suppose to have night vision, has the led lights that circle around the lens. Should those lights be red or at least light up for night vision? I can't see...

If the LEDS are truly for night vision only, then they are most likely Infra-Red types, invisible to the human eye, but visible to camera sensor. A way to test if they are IR and working is to point another digital camera directly at the front of the security camera at night.
The cell phone or webcam sensor will see IR LED's as white spots.
As for this model coming with night vision, I don't know.

The camera still works but when its dark in the room nothing shows on the monitor. If we turn the light on it works. It seems like the night vision feature is broken. I covered what looked like the light...

  1. It should go to automatic night vision. If this feature is not working then the answer to will a flashlight work the answer is not very well. The light will have to be on the child and a flashlight does not have much light behind it. Perhaps if you put a small lamp on a dresser that shines on the area the child is, this may work enough to keep an eye on him/her. A flashlight not so much. Hope this helps.

How come when I take pictures they are coming out blurry? Even when the subject is completely still and I let the camera focus before I click it still comes out blurry? Do I need to change a setting on my...

This kind of issue is usually caused by the night vision mode of the camera being switched on.
In some cases, the cause may be more than just the night vision being turned on but just to be sure, it is advised that you turn of any function that has to do with the night vision feature.
These features may range from the night vision mode itself and then to the night vision lighting.
Hope this was helpful?

I have xm2 canon, and I can't find the night vision mode on it.

I do not believe XM2 or GL2 does not have night vision mode. You may achieve little using video gain control. We all know Sony has the night vision modes which have been popular feature. James
