I just read to get some seafoam. I put some in and will see how that works tomorrow. Do you think SeaFoam is just a quick fix? If that does not work then I will take it to my mechanic and have him look at it.

What is the cost to have MAF & EGR both replaced? Parts, labor etc?

Sound like the ISC actuator it part of the throttle body, and its a reversible motor, it maintains idle speed stability its a motor actuator, and is part of the throttle body but just dont condemd it sevice the throttle body this acuator motor sometime has a hard time moving to adjust RPM.Then there is the MAF(mass airflow sensor) even though this measures good or bad it does not set a code or Check engine light,
Here the most probable cause MAF they have problems on MBZ CLK 320 and only a fuel trim reading can detect problems with this sensor, dont be dependent on ck eng light it wont show, then there is the MAP manifold air pressure after coming to a stop sign the EGR may still be open and not close properly causing the stumble and this wont give a code. So here is the most probable cause the MAF mass air flow going out of range causing lean fuel trim or the EGR pintle not closing properly stumbing the vehicle , so I leave you with MAF or EGR either one or the other or both or just replace both

I just read another post and they recommended Seafoam. I just put some in my car a few hours ago. I will see how it works out tomorrow. Do you think SeaFoam is just a patch job?

How much does it cost for labor and part sfor the EGR & MAF to be replaced?

2004 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class. Help please! My tire blew on my 2004 Mercedes Benz CLK class 320. I put a random spare tire on it & I can't get it off. Any advice will help.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to sub category.

How 'random' is the random spare tire? They come with a spare tyre.

Undo the nuts with a wheel spider, or put a pipe on the supplied wheel wrench. Hit the wheel from behind with a big hammer, or a 2 x 4 end on.

2004 mercedes clk reads coolant visit workshop. The coolant level is ok, but the radiator fan keeps runs on high as long as the car is running. I replaced the coolant level sensor which did not solve...

It could be either the left front fuse and relay box, left front sam or the engine control module. Basically it's in a safety mode right now because the engine control module is not getting the coolant temp. The early clk's had this problem when they came out with the new body style. Was a common problem for awhile.

I need to set the clock on a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria. In the owners manual it refers to a CLK button and there is no button with CLK on it. I understand the SEEK button controls the hour and the TUNE...

It could be under the "Tone" button if there is one of those. It might also be in the top right of the panel.
Also if there is a button that says "clock" that is the same as CLK.
Could also be you need to hold down the typical volume knob, that might work as well.

Where is the oil dipstick on a 2004 mercedes clk 270cdi? (sorry for the question Im female!!)

Tina, you have a very good question, as you will see by my answer: To check engine oil:park car on a level surface, car should be at normal operating temp (been driven for 20 minutes or more), car should be stationary (engine off) for at least 5 minutes. Turn smart key on move to position 2 or press 'keyless go' start/stop button once. The standard display should appear on the multi-function display. Press arrow up or down buttons on the steering wheel until you get the message 'engine oil level'. It will then display if the level is correct, or if you need to add some. Holy c__p, in their quest to make this 'simple', they have failed miserably. At least you won't get your hands dirty. Check for a comment to come shortly. Curt

2004 clk 500 unsteady idle rpm, could it be the

RUN down to Advance Auto Parts and buy a can of "SeaFoam" and add to your gas tank per instructions...drive for at least 100 miles and the problem should be gone. If not, one or more of your O2 sensors are most-likely fouled (lousy fuel quality these days).

I want to fix on my new number plates but i am struggling with the rear one. it seems to be screwed in from behind the plate. it is a 2004 mercedes clk. thank you for any assitance

I had experience of this when I bought my 230 and when I looked it was stuck on with extra strong double sided tape. I eventually found this out by removing the inner boot cover and poking around. there are holes there to screw it on but my ones were stuck on.
