Technically you should be able to use any iPad 2 3G on any carrier. All you need to do is swap out the SIM card. This means take out your Vodafone SIm card and put in your O2 SIM card. Once you have done this, plug your iPad into your computer and sync it with itunes so that it can download your new carriers info and voila. It should would without a problem on O2.
Good Luck.

You can Online site customer support executive and ask the reason for why delay for giving unlock..Ask for Refund...You can choose trusted source to get the unlock code..Then you need to specify the correct network provider it's locked now...If you have confusion ,you can go to nearest mobile store they will help to find which network it's locked now...You can also easily find it by using the methods below..
You can switch off the Phone and switch on it..It shows the logo or name of the current network provider it's locked now...
You can see the panel whether any network name or symbol typed in that...If typed in that panel.Your Phone is locked to that network ...
After find these specify it correctly..I think this is the reason for current unlocking code pending from that online site ..
If you cannot get the code..Visit the site

Vodafone unlock software

Instructions1 Enter the PUK that came with your SIM, when your phone prompts for the PUK. You may have to enter the PIN afterward.
2 Try 0000 and 1234 as possible factory defaults, if you can't remember yours or don't have one.
3 Contact your local Vodafone customer service center if you never received a PUK or if Step 1 and Step 2 didn't work. Typically, the phone can still call customer service and emergency numbers even when it is locked.
THanks

I have an unlocked iPhone 2G,which I've been using on Orange UK for 2 years. I want to change to Vodafone (better reception where I live). I think it was probably originally an O2 phone (as they all were...

If your Iphone is officially unlocked then it should work with any (other) network compatible SIM card - just insert a friend SIM on another network (or just get a 'free' Vodafone pre-paid starter SIM for testing) and turn-on the unit - if it is locked in any way, it will tell you!
When you do a factory reset, your unit will normally reverted to original 'o2' BRANDING and defaults: this can only be removed by reflashing/reprogramming your iPhone with 'generic' Apple Iphone firmware. 'Branding' in general in an unlock hanset will not stop you from using most of the resources of your new network but 'unbranding' (andor 'unlocking') can always be performed by a qualified technician.
Hope it helps: let me know how you go! Have fun.

I have a nokia 6280, VODAFONE, im trying to put my o2 sim in but it is asking for a restrication code??

It's also called a SIM lock or network lock. Basically it's telling you that your phone will only work on Vodafone until you provide it with the correct code. You can get this from Vodafone by calling their customer service and asking about unlocking your phone but they might charge you for it.
There are also online services offering to unlock phones but I've never had to use one so I can't really offer advice on that. Your best bet is to call Vodafone and see what they have to say.

Need to unblock a c905

The answer is that there used to be a connection before O2 and Vodafone started blacklisting handsets! Orange and T-Mobile have been blacklisting handsets for a long time (It is only recently that O2 and Vodafone also started blacklisting handsets).

NB Orange & T-Mobile always lock their handsets!(e.g. an Orange handset will only accept an Orange SIM and will not accept an O2, Voda or T-Mobile SIM)

So if you reported your Orange or T-Mobile handset missing to your network it became barred/blacklisted! BUT it was only barred on your home network. Therefore unlocking the barred handset would enable it to work on every network except the one it was originally locked too! Therefore the phone still had some commercial value, as it would function on at least 3 out of the 4 networks.

It wasn't long before Orange and T-Mobile began to combine their individual blacklist databases. Therefore a phone barred on Orange was also barred on T-Mobile and vice versa. Even at this point the barred handset could be unlocked and used but only on 2 out of a possible 4 networks (O2 & Vodafone).

The government eventually stepped in and forced O2 and Vodafone to update their systems and introduced the CEIR. Now that all the networks share a central blacklist database, even if a barred handset is unlocked it still remains useless on ALL UK networks!

Hope that helps.

Need samsung g600 unlocking code

I have just tried it with my new locked to orange g600 and it works fine on all networks.

1-Turn on the phone without sim card .
2-Pull off the battery cover and insert any non-accepted sim card (without turning off the handset)
3-Do full reset *2767*3855# , phone will reboot and goes to Menu .
4-Customize Sp-lock code *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
5-Unlock your phone with new SP code #7465625*638*00000000#
6-Enjoy G600 unlocked

if it doesn't work after step 3.. try changing the 'non-accepted' sim card that ur putting in..
eg if you are locked to vodafone and you try this method and use an orange sim card and it doesn't work, try using a o2 sim or even virgin :)
its easy good luck
