I havDUEL VIEW DSTV and it went on the blink, I kinda fixed TV1 but on the second TV which is LG after I AUTOMATICALLY RESET IT shows only 4 channels sabc 1 2 3 and etv, so now i cant see dstv and i cant find a channel for it, how do i get it back as it was working fine on tv 2?

I had the same problem with my S4253 using Directv. I then turned off the Dolby Digital on the sound settings on the Directv satellite box. Problem went away.

Your tv is HDTV ready but unfortunatly it only has a NTSC tuner which is analog, you will need a set top box to recieve OTA over the air digital, if you have cable sattilite or an HD dvd player you can display HD. You only need the set top box if you use an anttenna.

First verify that the direct TV satellite box is set to receive and display digital stations. If you old set on the sat was analog, the box may not have been reset. You may have to contact you satellite provider. Next you will have to go to the TV menu and auto program/scan in the stations. This should pick up all the stations.

If you are trying to watch HD TV through the tv and you are only getting sound, it is most likely because you would need an High Definition cable box. Hope it helps
