PLEASE HELP I own a Hummer H2 and recently I had to put on new tires. The dealer changed all the tires but I think they forgot to reset the warning signals so that it does not keep on telling me "tire service requested". I just want to know if there is a way for me to reset it my self so that it does not keep on popping up. Thanks.

I'm sure anyone with an OBD reader can reset the warning for you you. Also you could search the Hummer forums to see if anyone has fix for this.

if you changed selinoids i hate to say it but i think its toasted. but before dropping the cash on a new ****** i would go to the nearest chevy dealer and have it put on the computer. this way if when they update your software it doesnt fix the problem you need a ****** shop.

NEED TO KNOW TORQUE SETTINGS ON HUMMER H2

for what........the wheels?

Call the tire shop where you bought your tires. Tell them you had to put your spare tire on and you want to torque it correctly. Some shops torque all lugs the same, maybe 85 lbs of torque. But tire shops have manuals to check the manufacturers for exact torque settings for the wheel studs.

If its something deeper than wheels, buy the repair manual.

You can afford the Hummer.........buy the book (LOL)

Hummer H2 front tires rub when making sharp turns

If it definitely wasn't doing it before you took it in to the dealer and it was after they worked on it, then it must be related to what they have done and should be repaired by them. I recommend that you take it back again, ask to speak to the service manager and explain that you want it sorted out. If you get no joy from him, make an appointment to see the Dealer Principal (or overall manager, whatever his title is). I find it hard to believe that any reputable dealer would tell you that there is nothing wrong/nothing they can do when it MUST be something they have done in the first place. While the rubbing is probably not going to cause that much damage to the tyres, it is not exactly desirable either! If you still can't get any help from them, you could get another mechanic to look at it give you a second opinion. If they need to charge you for doing so, then you should be able to get reimbursed by the dealer once it is proven that there is an issue.

Sorry I can't help more.
