The cover on the document feeder may be partially open. Press the top of it while the document feeder is in the closed position. If you hear a click, then the top wasn't closed properly and you should be all set.

When you lift/ open the ADF you should see a tab in the back corner (slightly in from the corner) of the ADF. This tab is for the machine to see that the ADF is closed. Make sure tab is there. On its sister model they used a depression switch, check that and make sure it is there and working properly.

On the rear left side of the copier there should be a black hinged actuator sticking up out of a hole in the panel, directly opposite of that there should be a white plastic tab that pushes that actuator down. If not try taping the actuator down flat with the cover.

Konica minolta Bizhub 754 error code 8106n pls help

You may have foreing object floating under the Document feeder original tray. It is trying to go down to hope position but something is obstructing it, either paper clip or dusty sensor. Lift the doc feeder tray and remove 2x silver step screws from front and 2x self tapping screws from rear and this will give you access to rollers at plain sight and the tray it self. Lift the tray to max and check under for anything that doesn't belong there.

Doc feeder Nogo/ Doc cover open?

If you can use the glass and can print, but you cant fax or use doc feeder, then have a look at Left hinge it will be cracked, If you push down on left corner you should be able to use doc feeder when in that position

Here is part that breaks on every machine.

Here is link to purchase one for $25 bucks, three screws and job done, easy fix!

I'm getting a "PLACE DOC. FEEDER IN DOWN POSITION" message when I place a document in Doc Feeder input tray of my Toshiba E-Studio 3511 copier. It is down. I have removed and reinstalled the feeder...

I have a HP laserjet 3055 all in one printer and its giving me the error message that says Doc. feeder Jam. There isnt anything in the printer. How do I fix it.

The jam it's talking about is in the feeder on top. Check for stuck paper, or a sensor stuck down, in the feeder area on top

Place doc , feder in the down postion

Something is blocking the Original Present sensor in the document feeder. The machine thinks you are trying to use the doc. feeder to make a copy. Clear the obstruction and this should remedy situation.

I have a Copystar CS-2020 and it is showing error code A-O 410 on the screen what does this mean

Document Processor communication problem. This is due to a faulty ground connection.
Open the doc feeder lid, check the left hinge. There are two versions of grounding tab: a small one and a bigger and better one. Both attached by a screw.
Twist the small metallic tab that grounds the hinge with doc feeder metal frame in order to create better contact. Worst scenario, the doc feeder cable has a broken ground wire at the holding strap (inside the back rear cover of the feeder, which is hold in place by plastic clasps. If you are handy you can solder the wire ..
